“Anita's place is centrally located and within walking distance of restaurants, autorickshaw stands etc. The bedroom is large and the bathroom is attached. There is also a spacious common-use kitchen, dining and lounge area for guests with a washing machine, cooking facilities and a TV. Anita was a very helpful hostess and gave us valuable tips on where to go and what to do during our one-day trip to Mysore. The check-in and check-out times were flexible which was a huge bonus considering our arrival by cab and airport shuttle bus departure timings. She even ordered an Uber to take us to the shuttle bus stand.”
Bright pleasant top floor room with attached bath, in quiet residential locality with friendly helpful host
“I had a really great time with Meenu. She was so welcoming and made sure that I was comfortable and safe. It really was a home away from home. I was also able to eat some of her home cooked food which was delicious and she once took me to a local wedding which was super interesting. I’m really glad I chose to stay in an area a bit separate from the usual foreign hangouts so that I could experience something more authentic and dive into the culture more. The house is located in a nice quiet area and close to many shops so I had no problem getting food or getting around in general. It’s a 10-15 minute ride from Gokulam but if you’re interested in yoga there’s actually another yoga area near to her place called Lakshmipuram aside from other yoga studios being close by as well. Meenu is also fun to talk to and likes to laugh and joke around so thanks Meenu!”
