LOVE the loft, perfect blend of history, charm, great design, and character. super comfy open concept and great communication with the hosts. loved all the birds chittering and flying outside by the storefront, so fun to watch.

Thomas’s place was such a peaceful retreat in between hiking the several state parks in the area! Only 10 minutes from Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park, and several great local restaurants just down the street. A beautiful master bathroom to boot!

Rick & Barbs place was absolutely spectacular I had my parents stop by for thanksgiving diner, it was nice to be in my home town I only wish Connie’s had been open. Rick and barbs kitchen was fabulous, this was probably the most amazing studio I’ve ever been in. I’d definitely stay here again when I visit town.

My stay here was great and it was just what I needed during my work contract. It’s in a quiet neighborhood which gave me an extra level of comfort. I felt right at home and the apartment looks just like the photos. The hosts were very responsive and made sure I was comfortable. Highly recommend!

Stayed here with a group of 16 women and thoroughly enjoyed the incredible amount of space. The loft was exactly as described, offering plenty of room to spread out and relax. We especially loved the spacious industrial kitchen, which was perfect for our group. Each bedroom had its own unique charm, and while the layout was a bit unconventional—two bedrooms required walking through another to access—it only added to the character and charm of the loft. A note for adventurers: access to the rooftop hot tubs is via the fire escape, which, while sturdy, is mostly see-through and may not be for the faint of heart! Overall, it was a truly memorable stay!

Rin provided the best spot for a treating writing retreat experience. They are responsive, friendly, and accommodating. I got in town a little earlier and she immediately updated me that everything was set up and ready for me a few hours before the original check in time. That meant a lot especially since I was traveling alone with luggage full of clothes, writing material, and heavy books for a from April 5 to April 17. Hoping to make this my go to writing space next time I come back for a peaceful space to get it done 🤞🏼🌹

Came into town for a friend’s wedding and stayed at Jaclyns place. It was super cool and stylish and easy to get to. It was very large and very cozy. Jaclyn and Colin were very quick to reply and take care of one minor inconvenience. We will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful stay at The Moore Building! Check-in/out was seamless, the unit was spacious and stocked with everything we needed for our week-long trip. The snacks and water in the common area was a nice touch and came in handy on several occasions with our toddler. The location was perfect with a great coffee shop just a few steps away and plenty of restaurants and retail shops within walking distance as well. We definitely recommend this airbnb for anyone visiting Monticello. We will be booking again in the future!

Had an amazing stay! I was there for an entire month while working at a local hospital and this was the perfect place. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We really enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive and instructions were thorough. The loft was decorated so cute. It was so clean and pristine! We celebrated our anniversary the weekend we stayed and they even left us a cake and bottle of Prosecco to help us celebrate. Such a thoughtful gesture! We will definitely be back!
