Bungalow vacation rentals in Isle of Wight

I can only say THANK YOU Amanda for my lovely time at Paddlers Rest!!! It was a short stay but I feel so relaxed and recharged, the view of the sea and the surrounding sounds were so calming. I will come again, for sure :-)

We had a great holiday! We have stayed on the site several times before because we love the location and the bay so much and this is the nicest chalet we have stayed in so far. Great host, lovely decor, free of clutter but had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

‘Beau’ was spotless. Beds were very comfortable. Excellent shower and all the facilities needed. Near to the beach and within a few minutes of the needles.

This little 'bingalow' had all that we needed for our stay. The beaches were spectacular, so unspoiled and natural and had everything from rock pools to sandy beach, most of all were dog friendly. All in all Seaview was a fantastic place to stay, peaceful, plenty to see, great walks and good food to the left and to the right of our stay. IOW is just so beautiful, well kept, clean and refreshing, we loved it.

Roger’s little house suited us very well. We paid a premium price because it was summer half-term week but we were happy to do so in order to have clean and comfortable accommodation close to Seaview centre.

This was a great relaxing spot. The views were stunning and it was easily walkable (although be aware steeply uphill since the boardwalk was being fixed) to lots of great restaurants. Easily drivable to lots of interesting spots within 20-30 minutes. A great spot to relax and unwind.

Google Maps took us a little bit off course, but Liann explained things clearly. Fab unit for a family of 4. Great shower. Lots of storage boxes for a holiday. No wifi, so we used up all our data, but that was explained in the listing. Nearby pebble beach within about 250 metres. Football pitch/tennis court and mini golf to play on for free. Free parking right outside. Some coffee sachets and a fresh pint of milk in the fridge to start us off was a lovely touch. Thank you! Liann's place is away from the main drag a bit so it's completely quiet. We did a lot of stargazing while we were there as the light pollution is minimal. We saw about 20 shooting stars as the Perseids meteor shower was a full throng during our stay. So Nice. Very happy with our stay and would happily return to this spot.

Wonderful stay, the accommodation was right by the beach so plenty to see and do. The site was well looked after, quiet and clean. The lical pubs served excellent food.

Great location, down a very quiet lane, lots of land. The owners are very friendly and their dog Pablo is adorable, there's also 2 ponies which my daughter loved feeding apples to and talked to them at every opportunity. We stayed in Hazel Cottage which was perfect for us, had everything you could need in the kitchen including a dishwasher! It's a short drive into Brighstone where there is a village shop and a pub. I would highly recommend staying here.

We visited as a family of 4 adults, and we had loads of space. The accommodation was immaculate and very welcoming with some lovely extra touches which it made it feel like home from home. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the garden was so peaceful with a stunning view.

A very discreet place and no disturbance whatsoever.

Lovely stay whilst attending a wedding locally, so this was a great base. Shame we didn’t get to explore the village more, but we did get breakfast Sunday morning and had a small wonder. Great house, very homely, recommend!

Diane was a great host and the bungalow was very clean and cosy. It had a great outside space for the dogs that was secure and safe. Diane also sorted out a very good discount on the red funnel ferry from Southampton which was a lovely touch, and she was generally very helpful and responsive to texts. The only small problem was finding the place, it really wasn’t a problem once you find it, and it did make sense after finding it but the bungalow is tucked behind a hotel and classed as Leeds street. I would say it was more Hill street as that’s where you enter the property from, but it is part of the hotel so I do understand why it was described as it is. Like I said, not really a problem but just a small confusing detail. Had a great stay here and it was very close to the seafront and high street. I’ll admit, Sandown has died a lot since I was last here many years ago which was a shame, but that’s not Diane’s fault 😆

Wonderful location, lots for kids to do. Tennis, football, playground and mini golf on site (balls, clubs and bats provided). Colwell bay/Totland bay within walking distance (direct route to beach via downhill steps at the end of golf course). You can get to The Needles, Alpaca farm, Tepnell Farm Park, Compton Bay etc easily by car within 15 mins. Parking space directly behind the property which was very convenient. Do check all the drawers/under bed and under sofa storage for extra things such as black out curtains and deck chairs etc. Washing machine provided and there is also a laundrette on site. We would definitely stay here again if we visit IOW in the future.

We didn't want to leave! Great location if you're looking for somewhere quiet and beautiful. The cottage was very well appointed, well decorated, there was everything we needed, especially in the kitchen and utility room (and the games too). So many nice facilities and touches. We felt right at home.
