Garden Room

EmilyRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Thank you Lucy! Really lovely spot - just as the photos show with large bathroom and bedroom and separate seating area with sofa and table (which could accommodate 4 of us). Great atmosphere and vibe and there’s a pretty vintage caravan to view from the windows, not to mention the pottery! Ideal location being walking distance to town but quiet. I’d definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was only for one night but wished we could stay longer. We had everything we needed. Woke to a nice breakfast and loved spending the morning in the sun admiring the views. Highly recommend.

Goodwood Double with En-suite in Chichester

AnneRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Janet was friendly, welcoming and interesting to talk to. I met Andrew briefly at breakfast and he was friendly and nice to talk to also. The room and en suite bathroom were comfortable. The continental breakfast was a nice touch and appreciated. Good to have a dedicated workspace and off road parking as well. There is no view over the Goodwood motor racing circuit or racecourse from the room but Janet said there is from somewhere not very far from the house. There is a bit of a view from the window of the downs beyond the housing. The place was clean and attractive and a good place to spend the night. I'd be happy to stay there again.

Jayne Ann's place is terrific -- neat as a pin, filled with interesting artwork, a socialble and gracious host, and a short walk to the station or the city center. Couldn't be better!

Heron @ Lisle Court

ChristianRating, 5 stars10 months ago
"This other Eden, demi-paradise ..." - I inevitably had to think of this line by Shakespeare when I first set eyes on Lisle Court and its beautiful gardens. True, the house is a 15 minutes' walk off the main road so that I had to take a taxi to get there with all my luggage, but it is, for this reason, also a haven of tranquility with commanding views of Wootton Creek. A charming hostess, Eileen went out of her way to make me feel welcome and prepared a delicious full English breakfast, while tea, milk and biscuits were always waiting in my room. Moreover, the odd glass of wine or chat ensured that Lisle Court really felt like home away from home. The bed was comfortable and the room, like the adjoining bathroom, very spacious. One could also sit in the library, where the Wi-Fi signal was best and a wide selection of books on the Isle of Wight at your fingertips. Lisle Court is also a good location for exploring the island, with buses regular and reliable. Highly recommended!

Writers's Magical Organic Seaside Retreat

TitusRating, 5 stars35 months ago
It is what is says in the headline: ”A Writers's Magical Organic Seaside Retreat.“. So expect to be a guest at a writers home, in an art breathing, artefacts jammed Victorian house. You can treat yourself with a fab sea view in that opulent bedroom and maybe with the only organic breakfast on the island plus having a good chat with your host if you wish … . Thank you AJ.

Double or Twin Ensuite with Shower at 24 Ward Aven

CharlieRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Had a lovely stay. Melissa and Jonathon were very welcoming, the room and shower room were up a little staircase so it felt private and that we weren't disturbing others. Jonathon gave us an excellent recommendation for food in town and showed us the way through the beautiful groto that is their garden all lit with fairy lights. The cooked breakfast the next morning was delicious and set us up for our Coastal Path walk perfectly.

Woodpecker @ Lisle Court

CraigRating, 5 stars33 months ago
Eileen was a super host who was friendly, warm and welcoming from the get go. Her beautiful house is in a lovely location with exquisite views of the river creek and her breakfast is the perfect tonic at the beginning of each day before exploring the island. Highly recommend staying at Eileen’s. Thanks again!

Lovely stay at Anna’s. The accommodation was exactly how described. Very clean & modern. The breakfast basket was an added bonus as I didn’t read that when booked. The outside area is also lovely. We will be booking again!

Darren and Chi made us feel so welcomed in their home. Breakfast was delicious and they were extremely flexible and accommodating. Their home is ideally located adjacent to a stairway leading into Bournemouth Upper Gardens and about a 16 min jog to Bournemouth main pier/beachfront. Perfect if you're looking for a weekend away on the coast!

Ensuite double room betwixt the forest and the sea

LynnRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a delightful stay with Clive and Angie. They are very welcoming guests. The room with en suite was perfect for our needs, and made for an affordable weekend visiting the New Forest and Bournemouth. The room was bright and spotlessly clean, with some thoughtful touches. We also enjoyed cereals, fresh fruit, toast and preserves, fresh juice and a good pot of tea for our breakfast. Home from home! The recommendation to visit Friars Cliff on our way home was perfect. Thank you for welcoming us into your home. We would love to visit again.

Private en-suite room in country House Room Only

SophieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We loved our stay at Lordington Park for my husband’s birthday weekend. Harriet and the staff were very welcoming and looked after us and our two sausage dogs. The room was beautiful and we loved the gardens, particularly as there were plenty of areas for the dogs to run around and let off some energy. We would highly recommend a visit!

Perfect place for overnight stay on way back to gatwick. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Continental brekky with fresh fruit hit the spot. Claire was prompt with messages and greeted us on arrival. The nearby pub, recommended by Claire, served quality meals. Highly recommend Claires place.
