GREAT APARTMENT IN THE HEART OF FLORENCE

PaulaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a fantastic time at this apartment, it is as grand as it looks in the photos!! Very comfortable beds, lovely lounge area. Great location to dry out after getting soaked in the rain! Excellent location, two minutes from lots of very good cafes and restaurants and a daily market in the square. Easy walk to the main centre and 5 minutes from the Pitti Palace! Elly communicated throughout and made sure we checked in safely as our flight was delayed. We would definitely stay again!

Raggiolo is one of the most incredibly beautiful and peaceful places I’ve ever been. Laura was so helpful and responsive. The view from the house and garden is spectacular.

Villa Guardavalle

Typical Italian House, very large with large bedrooms and equally large toilets. Being a typical Italian house, old though with good structure, it remembers those very large mansions... decor is felt in another time! Quiet place. Host is 5 stars, always responds promptly with solutions. The possibility to hire Lunch or Dinner service for some special event, in my case, a birthday that was a magical evening, with typical Tuscan dinner very well prepared, decorated, tasty with live music (jazz).

Casa Colle

We had a very relaxing few days staying with Lucy and her family, and their dog Amber. They were really friendly and welcoming, and always ready to answer any queries we had. The pool area was lovely, and extremely peaceful. The accommodation was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The village is small with a butchers and bakers, a couple of restaurants and a bar. We did a lovely circular walk from the property through the woods to the nearby hill top village, Castel Vecchio. There’s nothing in the village but it’s very pretty and the views are great. You need a car to get to the supermarket and Lucca is a very easy 20 minute drive away. We had a super time and thank you Lucy for your generous hospitality.

Entire Country Villa

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Bonnie's villa! The villa is meticulously maintained, you can see the love and care reflected in the typical Tuscan architecture, charming rooms, large bathrooms and a dream kitchen. Our family of 12 enjoyed walking in the olive groves, relaxing by the pool, the fireplace so kindly laid out by Giovanni on a wet day and access to fresh herbs. Communication with Bonnie was a breeze, always prompt and offered lovely suggestions of things to do. The true gems of the villa are Luisa and Irma; the mamas cooked a meal of a lifetime for us to celebrate a special occasion. Everything made with love, dishes crafted with such mastery, a tiramisu cake to die for - a true taste of Tuscan cuisine and hospitality. The location near Volterra was perfect - we did day trips to Cinque Terre, San Gimignano and Siena. Our stay was idyllic: the villa nestled in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside abloom with spring flowers will always be a most cherished memory for us.
