Vacation rentals with lake access in It Heidenskip

We felt super comfortable in Paul's house! Great house for 8 people, as you have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus a separate toilet. All windows have fly screens, which is very convenient. Very nice garden and terrace, everything very clean. The kitchen is totally well equipped, we didn't miss anything! Very quiet location, but the nearest town with a supermarket is not too far away. The swimming area/sailboat are across the street, but that didn't bother us. We definitely want to come back 😊

We had a great stay at Steffen's place. The house was equipped as described, which we have rarely experienced so far, so that we felt very comfortable. The kids went on a voyage of discovery right away and found plenty to deal with wonderfully. We stayed in the house just before Easter and we didn't get bored. Most of the restaurants etc were already open at least on weekends. Only the boat tours start after our departure on April 19. (as information for successors who want to travel in the same period... :-)) Steffen responded super quickly and looked for solutions to problems and always had them ready. This quirky cottage is very well equipped, full of character and set in a beautiful and tranquil location. The local town of Oldberg offers a supermarket, bakery and chemist shop plus a couple of café/restaurants and the cottage is close enough to the major routes so as to offer easy access to larger settlements such as Zwolle and Heerenveen. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the property to those seeking a bit of peace and quiet in pleasant surroundings.

Stayed here for two nights with my kids. We loved the house! Very fully furnished, everything was present in the beautiful kitchen. Despite the bad weather, we had a great time!

Our stay was really nice. The location of the house is super quiet and beautifully located on the water. The house is very well equipped. Nothing is missing, especially in the kitchen. The rooms are all spacious and the furniture is appropriately selected. Communication went smoothly and quickly. We had a great vacation and would be happy to come back. 😊

What a lovely little place, right in the heart of the old city, super close to harbour and restaurants. We used the train station a lot, which is only a 10 minute walk away. The house is clean, modern and has all amenities. Communication with Jouke was easy and we received quick responses. We would stay here again in a hearbeat!

We stayed at the property over New Year's Eve and felt very much at home. The location right on the water is a highlight. It is a very quiet area, so highly recommended for a relaxing break.

The apartment is very well equipped. In the kitchen, all necessary utensils were available. We had a nice time and felt very comfortable. There is enough space for 8 adults. The location is very nice and the weather also played along. We missed a hair dryer. However, it was not listed as amenities. All in all, a nice stay. 👍🏼 😊

Benjamin is a great host, we received a great introduction into the history of the place. The appartment is very nice, clean and well maintained. It has everything you need. Also Benjamin was very helpful and attentive, he gave good recommendations for a boat rental. Fantastic base to explore the Frisian lakes by boat.

Our stay with Ymke was very nice. The location is perfect – around the corner are Leeuwarden and Harlingen, ideal for a nice getaway or if you want to find the hustle and bustle. As a couple who likes to cook, we were especially excited about the kitchen. We had brought our own knives, but otherwise everything was really provided to prepare a delicious meal. We would love to come back here to recover from the hustle and bustle in our hectic life in peace.

The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. We had a lovely stay! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, we immediately felt welcome. The cottage itself is beautiful, cozily furnished and the wood-burning stove provided extra atmosphere and warmth — perfect for a relaxing evening. The surroundings are magnificent, in the middle of nature, ideal for walks and unwind. At the same time, there is plenty to do nearby: nice villages, beautiful routes and activities for everyone. Definitely recommended, we will happy to come back!

What an incredibly nice and lovely cottage, in the middle of the forest and at a window. Everything was present and clean. Furniture is slightly different than in the photo, but certainly no less bad. Beds are fine, we slept wonderfully! Terrace outside is also really nice, nice in the sun. Surroundings are beautiful and wonderfully quiet. Plenty to see and do. It's a bit of a search which small path to park, but the description clearly indicates that. Owners are friendly and quick to respond. Top!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location right on the water was particularly nice, which is why we also took the opportunity to rent a boat.
