Condo vacation rentals in Italy

With a week to spend on Lake Como, I wanted somewhere quiet and with personality. Nothing quite measured up until I found Teddy's place. It's on the top two floors with a lot of space and - the clincher - fantastic views of the lake from the sitting room, where I spent a lot of time. There is also a lot of privacy, despite being surrounded by other buildings. I really liked the location in Malgrate, which is walking distance from Lecco. There are several nice shops and restaurants on the road below the property, a good supermarket about 15 minutes walk away and a waterfront promenade that makes a nice running route. Teddie was a friendly and responsive host and was kind enough to drive me and my big bag to and from the station. Would recommend.

I stayed here with my partner and two children (9 and 13). Bianca and Alfonso were brilliant - always happy to help. The apartment was very comfortable, we had everything we needed, I particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with my morning coffee (a real bonus as it was April). As mentioned there is a walk up the hill into town. From the apartment door to the station this took 15-20 mins, we had to walk up the road though as the path behind the apartment was temporarily closed - that would have been quicker. It is such a beautiful location though, with stunning views over to Vesuvius all the way, that we never minded the walk. This was a great base for visiting Pompeii, Naples, Herculaneum and Vesuvius. The local train does get busy but is easy enough to use otherwise. We were glad we booked the airport bus to and from the airport with our luggage! There are plenty of shops and restaurants in town - Alfonso gave us some recommendations which I appreciated. I would recommend.

Only downside: very low ceilings, apartment not suitable for people higher than 1.80. Otherwise everything is super: spacious and clean apartment, quiet area but close to the ski resorts (15/20 min walk) and super responsive and helpful host!

Lovely little apartment in a great neighbourhood, perfect if you want to get away from the more touristy areas of Rome. Kitchen was well stocked too if you want to try some cooking

It went very well, the accommodation was as described. Hosts are attentive to our needs. We recommend it.

We had a nice stay in the heart of the nice Navigli neighborhood. Everything was available for a comfortable accommodation. The sofa bed was also fine. Do bring earplugs to sleep well, the sound of people going out and passing trams is quite loud.

The breathtaking view is worth every penny and Ciompi is fantastic host, although easy to find on the map I would strongly recommend using the metro unless an experienced homer, as Google maps loves taking you up the stairs! Great pizza place just the local shops and a short walk from buses and metro, the walk to the central city is nice going downstairs too. 11/10 recommendation!

We enjoyed Edoardo's apartment for a long weekend. It is ideally located in the Navigli neighborhood, a very lively neighborhood with bars and restaurants. There is actually a little noise in the evening but, as a city dweller, we didn't mind it. Earplugs are available by Edoardo just in case. Paid parking (€5 per hour and €40 per day)and very "safe" parking allows you to park your vehicle near the apartment (3 minutes walk). The city center is accessible on foot or by tram which is very nice. Edoardo's apartment is very comfortable, it matches the photos well and a small elevator makes it easy to access the fourth floor with luggage. Edoardo is a very pleasant and available host. I would definitely recommend her apartment for your stay in Milan.

The host is very kind and understanding

We had a wonderful stay at Giulia’s place! The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed and is ideally located—just a short walk from the city center and the lake, yet incredibly peaceful thanks to its lovely private garden. We were traveling with a small child and truly appreciated the thoughtful touches like a baby cot, high chair, and even a little playhouse in the garden, which our kid loved. Flavio kindly met us at the train station and gave us a ride to the apartment, which was such a warm welcome. He was always available, incredibly friendly, and quick to help with any questions or requests. We feel very lucky to have chosen this place and would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect apartment, great view of the mountains in front and lake view. Clean and located in a quiet location. The only downside is that there are no bars in the country where you can have breakfast. We were on a trekking so we got along the morning before taking what we needed. However, there is a market about 20 minutes walk from the apartment where next door is a restaurant/pizzeria where you can dine, which turns out to be the closest to the apartment. Everything else is perfect.

We had such a lovely stay at Ornela’s. The accomodation was very well contained, tidy and practical, perfect for our little one as there was a toy corner which he loved. A great space and with a beautiful garden/seating area outside. Ornela was an excellent host. I recommend a stay here! Great for a family.

We had a very comfortable stay in the apartment with a beautiful terrace. Nice neighbourhood with lots of local restaurants and coffee shops. Andrea was very friendly and helpful with information and tips. We enjoy our stay very much.

We felt very comfortable with Francesco The place exceeded our expectations (clean, everything present and surrounded by a great garden) and we really enjoyed the time in the immediate vicinity of a wonderful beach. Thank you for the great hospitality, Francesco! Hopefully we can make it to Punta Prosciutto again!

Lovely place to which every day it was great to come back, close to the town and train station. Very nice hosts, ready to help with any situation with a high level of communication. Definitely worth recommending.

The apartment was very nice and 5 minutes' walk from the beach. Everything was exactly as described, no surprises awaited us. Communication with Christina was always perfect. We also particularly liked the lockable garage parking space. We highly recommend the apartment!

The view of Lake Maggiore is beautiful. A big plus is the well-kept pool. All in all a lovely place to stay.

Great view and the pool (which we could no longer use in October because of the weather) are a dream. Paola is a dream host and always available and had many tips right from the start. Unfortunately, shopping is not possible in the village, which means you either have to buy something in smaller stores (if you can find a parking space) or you have to go back to Como. Otherwise, you can also start a few hikes directly from the apartment. Restaurants are available in the village or in nearby villages as long as you can find a parking space - which unfortunately was an issue even in October (also due to construction sites)

Elena is a very pleasant Host. She is super helpful and friendly. He also recommended where to dine and showed us a bit of the strategic points of the area. The home is fully stocked. Elena even offers intimate towels for women. In the morning we also received warm and fresh croissants, and we had everything available for breakfast. The view from the apartment is spectacular and when we went we didn't even pass too many cars that bump the atmosphere. Unfortunately, we did not use the pool because it is still a maintenance period, but we saw it and it is very nice. The garage is spacious and close to the apartment. Included in the spaces there is a very large terrace, cozy and equipped with loungers, shade or sun, preferably, barbecue and table with chairs. Really beautiful stay!! The only downside, not for us, if you don't like long walks, in the surroundings, you can't walk to the places as a first necessity

We liked the stay at the place very much. You are at the lake in a very short time, where you can super relax and swim. The pool was also very welcome. The balcony was very nice and even in the kitchen we could prepare good meals. Shopping without a car would have been very tedious, but optimal with a car. Alessia was also very accommodating and friendly :) We would definitely come back here!

Everything was just as expected, Conny very likeable and the communication was good. The view from the balcony was magnificent and numerous bialettis for typical Italian coffee available :) Clear recommendation.

Mario's AirBnB has a great location, it was very close to the two vila's we wanted to visit (Vila Carlotta and Vila del Balbianello), so there was no hassle with ferries etc. in the morning. We also very much loved the beautiful view from the balcony, on the mountains and Lake Como. The kitchen was very well equipped and the sofa bed was comfortable. However, the biggest plus of the AirBnB was Mario himself! He kindly picked us up from the ferry port in Tremezzo and even gave us a ride to Vila del Balbianello the day we left! He was also very responsive via text and gave us great tips! Would highly recommend!
