This can be your quiet getaway at the duck farm as you relax in the Boat Shed beside the pond. You will have the entire house to yourself complete with kitchen, living space, bedroom, full bath with shower. There is a loft on each end of the tiny house best suited for children and teens. The front porch faces the pond with four acres & ducks. Canoes are available fully equipped with life jackets and paddles. Swimming is allowed with adult supervision, including a rope swing and zip line.

The first guest comment I hear is "Wow - pictures don't do this place justice - the house is incredible and the views are spectacular! The next comment is "I thought we were way out in the country but it's only 20 minutes to the waterfront town of Georgetown, with shops, dining, museums and more. Looking to get away? This place is truly a retreat- a 3 bedroom house on the beautiful Black River in Georgetown. Four kayaks provided, swim or fish off the dock just a few steps from the house.

Maggie Jo’s paradise on the river !

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Maggie jo is a 1970 completely restore houseboat. She has got a full size refrigerator , gas range ,microwave and toaster oven. Out on the back deck she has a gas grill. The aft berth has 2 full beds that are extremely comfortable. Galley dinette make into bed and the couch in the saloon pulls out also. While on the decks you will see eagles, dolphins , gator or fishing jumping out of the water. I also have 2 tandem kayaks for your use.

Lo & Billy got married in the 1950s and lived here. Renovated after meeting Lo and hearing her stories. We pay homage to the rich history of Georgetown and the Southerners that have called Lo & Billy’s Place home. Heavy on coziness & design.
