Welcome to our newly-built vacation home in scenic Vemdalskalet! With proximity to the ski slope and a stone's throw from cross-country ski trails, snowmobile trails and snowshoe trails. The floor plan is aimed at good socializing with an open living room together with kitchen, in front of the fireplace and the peaceful view. Bedroom with its own clothes hanger and a bathroom equipped with shower, washing machine/drying cabinet and sauna with a view. The balcony is partly covered and is equipped with furniture & barbecue.

You have a nice forest behind the property with blueberries and mushrooms, a 3.5 km plowed walking path and a cold dip in the river ten minutes walk away. As well as bike paths. Hiking and cycling trails start right outside and during summer there is a private dock and rowing boat by the lake. The ski resort is just over 1 km away and in winter it’s possible to walk or ski across the frozen lake to the lifts. Three bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and free EV charging. Det händer något med oss när vi tar oss tid att bara vara. Att leva det lite primitiva livet för en stund utan för den delen behöva tumma på alla bekvämligheter. Att släppa på vardagens bestyr, lägga ifrån sig mobilen och låta sig förunnas av det som finns runt om. Tända en eld, paddla kanot, titta ut över vattenbrynet från sängkanten då även bävern kan simma förbi ibland, koka kaffe och laga mat över öppen eld. Sängen är färdigbäddad när du/ni kommer. Hjärtligt välkommen!

There is room for 4 guests and it has all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation with comfortable beds, a fireplace and sauna.

This lovely, old (but newly renovated!) wooden house sits right on the edge of Lofssjön (Lofsdalen’s lake). With a 180° view of the water, a beautiful wood-burning fireplace, a brand new sauna overlooking the lake, and all of the modern comforts, you have everything you need to fully relax year-round. *Please note: we replaced our hot tub with a wood-burning sauna in fall 2025.
