“A perfect alternative to camping. The yurt was spacious and clean with a well made deck built around it. The yurt is on a (mostly) private lake. You can swim in the middle but it’s mostly covered in lily pads with plenty of interesting critters. Kayaking and paddle boarding was very relaxing. The lake in general was an amazing touch. We cooked over the fire pit and always had a fire going. We hiked at CamRock park nearby which was a great time. Robin and Wil couldn’t have been nicer. We were left alone the entire time and felt isolated but not completely alone in a good way. They have beautiful horses and you will occasionally hear them. We will definitely return! We went beginning of June and lucked out with perfect weather. 10/10 would recommend and worth every penny!”

“Great stay. Had an enjoyable weekend at the lake. The house is charming, and the living area and kitchen are spacious. We really enjoyed using the grill and the fire pit in the evenings. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped with everything we needed which was greatly appreciated. There were lots of extras around the house like games and books, and personal touches of the family make the place extra homey. The only thing I can think of that was a slight negative was the sump pump could be heard sometimes during the night, but wasn’t that big of a deal.”
This turn of the century silo, constructed with re-purposed materials, has been converted into a 5 story "glamping" tower. Each level is unique and charming in its own way. Perhaps the 4th floor boasts the most intrigue. Here, a hammock chair, cozy rug, automatic trap door and 6 large opening windows with a 360 degree view create quite the ambiance. There are many rivers and lakes nearby. Please note* There are 3 Airbnb's on the property, we occasionally host events. You may see other people.
“We had a wonderful experience staying at the silo. It was so unique. Perfect for a weekend get away. They had excellent suggestions for places to go in the nearby towns. It was just far enough away to feel like you were in the country but close enough to where you could go out to eat and explore. The small kitchen setup was great for making a small breakfast. We made friends with the barn cats who were there to greet us. Rascal was very affectionate. It was a little on the chilly side as we went in November during a snow storm but as to be expected and it was surprisingly comfortable sleeping. We are definitely looking forward to visiting in warmer months to experience more hiking and the rain water shower.”
