Villa Myyry is a cozy and well-equipped villa on the shores of Pielisjoki in the village of Paihola, Kontiolahti. The villa has 77 m downstairs and a large loft. The location is in a quiet rural environment.  The driveway is right up to the door and there is plenty of parking space in the yard. Allergy-friendly, pets are prohibited. You can access the cycling trail directly from the yard or go snowshoeing on the ice of Pielisjoki. The ski resort Kontiolahti Biathlon is about 10 km away. The landlord lives next door.

In 2020, this stunning villa is hand-carved from a couple hundred year old Karelian sleds. A huge view window gives a spectacular view over the water. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, two bedrooms, a toilet and sauna facilities Underfloor heating, an air source heat pump, and a fireplace ensure a comfortable temperature all year round. The holiday is crowned by our 6-person outdoor hot tub, big, and avanto. No pets, no smoking. Bed linens 15€/person, final cleaning 120€.

Alapiha Arboretum Guesthouse and Sauna

Cozy guesthouse and sauna in a wild tree sport park. The area has about 250 different varieties of woody trees and shrubs on two acres. The tree was planted in 1970 and forms its own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is partly still in a natural state and the area is undergoing renovation. For those interested, the arboretum will be gladly introduced during the visit. The house crowd includes two lapin reindeer dogs, a cat, a rooster, and 6 hens. Breakfast on-demand

Villa LHJ Heinämäki

Villa was build 1999-2000 as a second home from the family with basic facilities criteria for everyday living. Basic principle was to have a place to calm down but also a house for remote work in home village. Place is pretty nice on top of the hill, scenery is wide almost all over ... tens of kilometers. Style is rustic with a light twist of retro functionalism. Now we have moved 200m, on the opposite side of the road, and we offer Villa for our quest. Your sincerely Leena & Juha

Fully renovated house, plenty of accommodation. A park-like old farm 10 min drive from the centre of Joensuu. Fully equipped home. Living room/open kitchen with spreading double bed for two. A double bed for two in the bedroom. In the upstairs bedroom, a 160cm Yankee bed and a spare bed. Downstairs toilet and upstairs bathroom/toilet. Yard sauna. Near the Pielis River and 1.5 km of natural sand recorder with a good beach. Natural peace in the vicinity of the city.

Welcome to relax in the sauna room in our yard, by the lake! Although a small, stylish sauna is part of our inhabited courtyard, you will find peace, nature, privacy and wonderful scenery here. The place is also great for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Rowing boat and SUP board available. Bring your own linens and towels. If necessary, however, linen can be arranged at the accommodation.

Home Telescope Terraced house triangle with sauna

The sauna-like end of the terraced house is triangular, the bright and simple interior brings light and lets thoughts flow. The property has everything you need for a pleasant stay Two 160 cm wide Yankee beds ensure a good night's sleep. Nearby you will find great places for outdoor activities (Utranharjut), a disc golf course and Utransaaret with fireplaces. The kitchen has the basic necessities for cooking/grilling.

Kuohu - sauna cottage on the shore of a rapid

The spark is atmospheric, a warm sauna cottage that was completed in 2015 by the small river. In the noise of the water you can relax in the sauna, barbeque, or in the flame of the outdoor fire. The cottage is located on a small sand road, in complete privacy. Koli National Park is about 30 min drive away, Höytiäinen beach is just over 2 km away. We have canoes for rent and lunch packages with local products available.

Relax with your friends or family in this pittoresque Finnish cottage with a sauna. There is also a rowing boat free to use and to fish. In the hammock you can have a good nap in the sunshine. There is a big patio to have a grill feast and enjoy summer. Great routes for hiking and mointain biking. If you want I can arrange a tub for your stay for extra cost. Please ask for availability.
