Sunny, south facing living space, with view of mountains and forests. Ideal for walkers and cyclists, or exploring nearby castles and thermal spas. Close to Cathar trail, swimming lakes, gorges, yet all amenities of small town within walking distance. Euro bus to Carcassonne or Perpignan, and hub for roads to many other tourist attractions too! 50 mins from airport ( Carcassonne) , 90 mins from coast.
What guests are saying:“I feel a little clueless to try to succeed in expressing here in a few words the exhaustive list of all the satisfecits that I would have to list as for this small cozy nest concocted with so much care and details by Joy… it is small but it's big, already thanks to Joy's warm welcome. Then, what surprises, is the thoroughness of the details ... nothing is missing, absolutely nothing! Even the sewing kit is there in a drawer! bathrobes, slippers ... toothpaste! … Shampoos, after shampoos… documentation on the region, hiking maps… to continue would risk competing with the Prévert inventory… fortunately only TV would not appear there! (but on the other hand, a nifty little radio which so well captures the live concerts of France Musique :)… in short, because you will understand that staying in Joy's completely independent little house is an experience in itself that you must have tried at least once in a lifetime! A 1060 m d'altitude, la vue qui s'offre à vous est magique, le calme règne. Toutes les activités montagnardes sont à votre portée : BAIGNADE AU LAC (surveillée l'été), pêche, ESCALADE (magnifique salle à 1500 m et falaise avec voies aménagées à 3600 m), nombreuses RANDONNEES pédestres et VTT, etc.

We made the reservation a few hours before our arrival in Belcaire and in 5 minutes, they accepted it! The accommodation is beautiful (even more so than the pictures), very new, super clean, with garden / terrace and it has everything you could need. The environment is ideal, it is right in front of the lake surrounded by nature !! The bed is super comfortable, the atmosphere is very quiet, you can hike in the mountains and swim in the lake.
