The Stables is a very picturesque and comfortable cottage at the tiny village of Evenley. It is situated near the village green. (cricketfield in the summer) Both, the village and the cottage, are the English countryside at its best. Very private, and beautifully situated at half an hour's drive from Oxford. What used to be "The Stables" were actually the stables of the manor ( home of the very friendly host and his family) and were tastefully transformed,- respectful of the historic character and significance- into a modern B&B. Spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful large garden, that offers spectacular views of the rolling countryside. Quiet, peaceful and idyllic. Very private, apart from the 3 chickens who made themselves at home inside, but were easily encouraged to leave.

Had a wonderful stay at "Bonny Doon" ! Faye was absolutely lovely, constantly responding to messages and just all-round being an amazing host for me and my partner. The listing was exactly as described and looked just like photos, if not better in person ! We adored the cinema-like projector and surround sound which we used non-stop on our stay. The garden was spacious and beautiful, and we enjoyed wandering down throughout our stay to see the local wildlife. We will definitely be staying again and would 100% recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Northamptonshire area !! Thank you for such a wonderful few days away !

Our stay at Little Beech in Evenley from April 28 to May 1, 2025, was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm, beautifully presented space that radiated tranquility and comfort. The setting is peaceful and private, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered—from the cozy interior decor to the well-equipped amenities that made us feel right at home. Waking up to the serene surroundings was a joy each day, and we left feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. This is a truly special retreat, and we’re so grateful for the hospitality. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!
