It’s a small wooden cabin, more than 100 years old, with old decor. Suitable for young couple. Low ceiling, placed on stills , surrounded by mango trees. There is a splendid view from the cabin .its a smaller version of the big main wooden cabin we have .its like staying in a wooden tree house in a forest .surrounded by trees and birds in a quite residential area in the city .in 15 minutes one can reach the city center .International airport is 11 kms and train station 6 kms from the location

“We had a wonderful stay at Rajasree’s. She was extremely accommodating and generous, even given all three of us a home cooked complimentary breakfast each morning. The room was super comfortable and the bathroom nice and spacious. It was so nice to have working wifi for the first time in weeks. It was my friends birthday while we were there and Rajasree helped us out by storing our cake in her refrigerator. The place was always clean and the amenities were superb, with supplies for coffee and tea in the morning. Overall a really great stay!”
A home away from home, perfect retreat to take in the essence of "God Own Country. Situated 6 km from the City Centre, Thamburu offers the right blend of a quiet, peaceful and relaxing abode away from the city hustle, yet easily accessible . Do note only: First Floor is allocated for Guest Use as the Host occupies the ground floor which is a private space. The host stays in the ground floor.
“One of the loveliest Host we've ever met! First of all, being the idiots that we are didn't ask the host directly for the location and relied on the"super accurate" google maps which sent us across every nook and corner of the whole Thambooru-Anoor region. We called Maya again and again, to get the location right and they were so helpful and patient. On reaching our stay, I was amazed by the architecture, ambiance and greenery of the house. The house is built to adapt to the changing weather and the ceiling tiles are the recycled and reused ones. How cool is that? Maya and her better half were hands-down THE BEST. Our room was just perfect. During the whole stay, I didn't even feel like I'm in a hotel room or a homestay. It really felt like one of our very good friend's homes, that we are staying in. They were so considerate and helpful and in planning our tour in Trivandrum. I even tried making appam!! The breakfast was so scrumptious and chaii was heavenly. Definitely gonna go back, in my next visit to Trivandrum. Thanks a lot Maya and to her family(even her cute little granddaughter) for all the warmth, love and hospitality. Lots of Love”
