Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kalmar County

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole and Tobias house. It is a truly extraordinary experience to spend time in such a remote place. We could see the most beautiful starry nights and at days you could hear and see a lot of animals around the house. Nicole was quick replying, proactive and even brought us some of the eggs her hens laid and Tobias gave us a warm welcome even though we arrive pretty late at night. We had an altogether great time and would love to come back sometime.

It was perfect for two families, we had such a great time, and the hosts were lovely. They helped us with everything we needed. We went fishing, enjoyed the hot tub, and the house had plenty of space for all of us. It was peaceful and so relaxing to unwind on the big terrace. We’d all love to come back next year. Thank you! 😊

It was a very nice stay very close to the sea. Sauna and bath tub did the rest to relax. I'll be a guest again in four weeks 😀

I had a great stay at Helge's house! You can get to the island very easily and free of charge from Karlskrona. The ferry leaves approximately every 30 minutes. The few islanders were all very friendly and always greeted. The small supermarket is really very well stocked and has everything you need for weekly shopping. The house and location are at least as beautiful as in the pictures! You can only feel comfortable, switch off perfectly and forget any stress. Helge is extremely nice and accommodating. A really great host. He even has a newer boat than the one in the photo with more horsepower. I strongly recommend that Helge give a briefing, as it is quite rocky close to the water surface. I had a fantastic time. Good for dropouts, couples or family who can also occupy themselves. Price/performance was excellent!

The most amazing Air BnB .. I have stayed in many air bnbs in both the US and Sweden and I can confidently say that this was the nicest place we have ever stayed.. ! Situated in a forest just a 5 minute walk from the Baltic .. and a bakery sells the best cinnamon rolls in the area. The house is fantastic both inside and out .. modern layout and appliances (gas stove!) and even a working disco ball! Everything you need is in place here down to Q-Tips! The beds are comfortable and the outside space is fantastic.. decks all the way around. The hosts were beyond accommodating with our every need including a last minute request for a cake stand 😊Super friendly and provided detailed instructions. We are already looking forward to staying here again !

Recommended to anyone who wants to stay quieter in the countryside with individual accommodation with all the amenities one might need in a home. Cozy to burn in the evenings but everything was heated and comfortable without it. A big plus that you could be allowed to sauna sometimes, and that dogs were allowed. Very accommodating and nice host.

Tomas was incredibly helpful and keen for us to have a good time with him. Everything was very adapted for our family and the kids really enjoyed it! The proximity to both Kalmar Castle, playgrounds, restaurants and concert area made it easy for us to explore Kalmar and we are happy to stay more times at Tomas's place!

We loved our stay in Haralds cosy swedish house on the country side.

We stayed with Frida for the second time. We enjoyed it very much again. Astrid Lindgren Welt is within walking distance. In the other direction about 2 km is a beautiful swimming lake. It's been a great time. We'll be back!

Nice small house and garden in a quiet location and close to the beach. There was a simpler hot tub and toys, high chair and potty. Perfect for our little family with children!

We celebrated Christmas and New Year's Eve in this accommodation. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa in the middle of nature. There is a lake behind the house and in front of the house you can walk directly into the forest. Perfect! Big plus was that we were allowed to bring our dogs. They also had a wonderful vacation! The house is spacious and comfortable. Ingatorp is a quiet and idyllic place. Nearby, there is a lot to do and see. Everything was in the house and there are two bathrooms. In summary, wonderful house!

Highly recommend this villa. Everything felt completely renovated with incredible cozy and rural feel. We were a few families who had a great weekend and were a great house that was very spacious when there are several. Noise village feeling to walk down the gravel road to the swimming area and great to borrow the rowing boat. The host was great with.

We had a wonderful time in Johan's house. The house and garden are very large and we enjoyed spending a lot of time there. Johan and Anna were easy to reach, very friendly and helpful! We felt very comfortable!

Arriving at the place, it immediately made you feel at home: very cozy house, clean, warm, nicely decorated. All is made available for having a relaxing stay. Quite surroundings. The garden is nice, but not fenced (we didn't let our dog run free, to prevent running to the neighbors). Also some nice games available in the house for the children. The house is at walking distance from a public swimming area (in the river), which can be nice in summer. You can walk easily to the nearby forest. Nearby shops are available at half an hour walk in Blomstermåla. With car you can of course discover more surroundings (we drove e.g. to Svartö for a walk over there). We were a family of 7 adults and 2 babies spending a weekend in this amazing house. The house has all the amenities you can imagine and then some. The pictures match what the place looks like. Also, super friendly hosts who were very helpful and provided quick responses. Can highly recommend to stay here!

Great house in a fantastically beautiful and quiet location and with a lot of views. We, a large family with a kindergarten child and teenagers, enjoyed the stay very much, the children had a lot of fun in the pool and in the garden set up for children, we adults especially enjoyed the sunsets on the terrace. Kitchen and house are perfectly equipped. Asa was very warm and quickly accessible for any questions. We therefore extended our stay, also because the beautiful surroundings have many excursion possibilities to offer.

Åsa's house is very charming, with a lovely conservatory where you can sit and enjoy yourself when it rains, lots of games for the garden and nice kitchen all the room. There were fresh flowers when we arrived and Åsa was very flexible with respect to special wishes. Åsa is a very attentive host and the house had everything you need in a home. A warm recommendation from us.
