Monthly Rentals in Kambussawala

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay away from the crowds very much. It felt like sleeping in our own tiny house in the jungle. The host was very friendly and helped us to get local tuktuk drivers, since it's a bit further from restaurants and beaches. We can highly recommend this place.

We spent 10 great days in the house with our two children (6 and 9 years old). The pool was big enough for swimming and romping and to the beach it was about 50m. The beach is suitable for swimming with children. Depending on the weather, there are decent waves here too. Lalith and Sriyani came every day and took care of the garden and the house. We had rented a tuktuk and were on the road even in the nearby area (supermarket in Tangalle) - you should have good nerves for this. In the tropical garden there were many animals to admire (peacocks, lizards, monkeys, fireflies). The house consists of 2 building parts. In the front there is 1 bedroom with bathroom as well as the kitchen and living area. In the second building (only separated by a small hallway) the other two en-suite bedrooms and access to the pool. We had a great time and would be happy to come back.

We loved our stay at the Palm Lanka. Beautifully designed & decorated house, well located near beach & cafes. Suresh and Manel were the highlight, making us feel so welcome & comfortable. The meals - breakfasts & dinners - were amongst the best we have had in Sri Lanka & Suresh was extremely helpful with any requests we made. Highly recommend!

Best stay in our entire Sri Lanka trip! Such a beautiful and well maintained space with lovely caretaker Rita always available to answer any questions. Would seriously recommend this place for families halting at Tangalle. The beach is serene and not as crowded as Hiriketiya so that also is a plus. All amenities were as mentioned. This was the only place in our entire trip which provided us with generous quantity of drinking water such that we need not purchase from the supermarket :)
