Hugely charming wooden house located on 5000 m2 of undisturbed surroundings overlooking a scenic and protected area with heathland. Occasionally, a deer or two will stop by. The house is located on the eastern part of the island in the Kromose area. A quiet beach facing the Wadden Sea to the east, which is part of UNESCO's natural heritage, is only 500 meters walking distance on a path. Enjoy your morning coffee and tranquility on one of the lovely terraces or on the covered terrace. There is a great opportunity to see the northern lights in the winter months.

Cottage by the Wadden Sea

Hans and I rent out our lovely renovated cottage on the Wadden Sea. The house is big, spacious and cozy. There is a spa, activity room with table tennis, and large outdoor area. Distance to the Wadden Sea is 1.5 km and about 20 km to Rømø with wide white beaches. There are shopping opportunities in Skærbæk and Højer. There's peace and quiet, but with plenty of opportunities for excursions in the area. The area is part of the Wadden Sea National Park. In the fall you can experience "Black Sun". Possibility of two beds for children.

The large, cozy terrace environments invite you to relax in the sun, barbecue dinners with family and friends or quiet moments with a good book and birdsong.

The "Haus Mellhörn" is located in an elevated position with high-quality equipment and with beautiful views of the large hiking dune with the unique Lister dune and heathland. This is what holiday dreams under thatched roofs look like: The Frisian cottage "Kliemkiker" was newly built in 2016: 120 sqm of living space for up to 4 people on a plot of almost 1000 sqm with a fantastic view, directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. One dog is also welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily accessible by day trip by car, train or boat.

Our vacation home in the North Frisian country house style with private garden can accommodate up to 4 people with a size of about 95 m². The location is central. Just a 15-minute walk to the beach & downtown. The train station & supermarkets are within walking distance. Fully equipped kitchen. A washer and dryer are also available. Spacious living room with dining area. The spiral staircase leads to the two bedrooms and the main bathroom with shower and bathtub.

The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.
