“Rajan and Elsie are painstaking in every aspect of playing host. They are very pleasant, patient and constantly making sure you are comfortable and safe throughout. The home is beautiful, spotlessly clean with a full fledged spice garden attached. It will take you some time to go over all the spices. The food is an additional attraction prepared in the local cuisine. It was delicious. If you are a writer or a creative person looking for a quiet place with no one or thing to bother you, this is exactly the place. You can easily spend productive months without a worry. Rajan and Elsie are excellent hosts who will take care of the stay. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants quiet and peace and a beautiful home.”

“A memorable new year at mountain villa ! Though the road to get to the location is an off road adventure in itself, the first sight of the quaint little stone cottage puts all the aching joints to rest. The location - so secluded and away from everything, amazing hospitality, joshi's drool worthy cooking and vagamon itself are well worth it all. The cottage is done up beautifully. The couches, books and chairs to relax, perfect sit out spots to read and have kattan-chai. The location and settings are much better than what they seem in the pictures. The hosts are warm, welcoming and communicative. They helped us plan our activities. Lot of small beautiful hikes around the cottage and other activities ad well. Our cook, Joshi, spoilt us with puttu, curry, beef roast and pazhampori. We had to hike extra just to make sure we had a good appetite. The bamboo cottage looked beautiful as well. Everything about the place is picturesque and perfect. All the staff were like family and took care of us very well.. Would love to stay again !”
