Spacious villa with a pool. The pool is clean. Each bedroom has en-suite outdoor bathroom. The beds are comfortable and the ACs works well. The living room/kitchen has a portable fan, a small sofa and a dining table. It is not the most ‘cosy’ and well laid-out living room I have been, but it may just work as a place to get family/group to sit down to have a meal together. Going in and out of the villa can be challenging if you bring your own car and you’re not used to drive on a small lane in Bali. Using scooters to go around Melasti/Amed will be much easier. Good Stuff cafe nearby has excellent fresh and delicious food/coffee.

Best stay we could have ever wished for in Amed. The place is well located and clean, and Ketut and his family have warm hearts, are really helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend to everyone who wants to experience the local way of living, learn about Balinese culture and feel like being part of a beautiful community of people.

Super super love this homestay. Outside the room is a large emerald rice field. Across the street is Mount Agung Volcano. Fireflies can also be seen at night. My clerk is very friendly and kind. The food is also very delicious. I spent a few days here.Will definitely come back to Bali in the future!

I had a beautiful stay at the Joglo in Candidasa. Wayan was a fantastic host—kind, responsive, and unobtrusive. The Joglo is simply stunning, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Falling asleep to jungle sounds was pure magic. Candidasa feels like old Bali: peaceful, authentic, and safe enough to explore by scooter. Oketo Cafe was a standout for breakfast. I’d avoid breakfast at Nirwana Resort—it was really disappointing. One bit of constructive feedback: there’s no detailed guest guide. Info like rubbish disposal, how to access extra towels, recommended mosquito repellents, laundry services, and food delivery options (there was only a menu for one place) would’ve been helpful and saved bothering Wayan with small questions. A guide would also reassure first-timers if the power goes out (as it briefly did for us). That said, it was a wonderful stay and I’d love to return. Highly recommend for a peaceful and authentic escape.

awesome villa in the rice field, the host were very friendly and lovely, and we definitively love this place. they offer a lot of service and recommendations. we walked through the rice fields starting from the villa. The restaurant is also very tasty and the view from there is amazing.

When we came, the recepsionist offered us welcome drink then guide us to the room. The room is quite beautiful and the pool was very clean. However during our stay there is some construction right in front of our room. It is little bit annoying but we undestand that Uma Garden need some reparations Anyway, thanks for welcoming us

This place exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely beautiful, maybe the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. The staff were very friendly, the views were unbelievable, food was delicious and easy to order, and the included scooter was perfect for us to explore surrounding areas. We also enjoyed a massage at their spa which was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Bali!

Unusual place, neat decoration, beautiful construction. Super comfortable bed, great heated pool/spa to end the evening. Easily accessible to Sidemen. The basic breakfast is very good but a little light. However, an extra dish can be made available. Some storage is also missing, especially in the bedrooms and bathroom (towel rack). Restaurant nearby but is not a very great value and we had more than an hour of waiting for an order with delivery. But we recommend 100% for a guaranteed escape!
