Private apartment where you can have the place all to yourself. We thought we'd share our nice vacation apartment that we don't have the opportunity to use so much this year. Käringön is a car-free island in Bohuslän and completely unique with its location in the far west. On the island, there is a nice grocery store, cozy Petersons tavern and a number of great restaurants. There is also a fish shop with probably the best lobster you have tasted. But best of all, the salty baths are just around the corner and the sunsets. Possible parking space in fenced area

Wonderful cottage with a patio that has ocean views

We rent out our cottage, which is a real gem all year round. The location is perfect with a 5-10 minute walk to saltwater swimming and nice viewpoints. By car, you can get to Marstrand in 20 minutes and to Gothenburg in 35 minutes and we recommend having a car. The cottage is older and simple but has been partially renovated in the winter of 2025. It is located on a beautiful natural plot and has a sunroom with a balcony that has sea views. The house is suitable for families with children, friends and couples. Maximum 4 adults but more if they are children.

Käringön - Penthouse by the sea

Unique penthouse apartment with the sea as a neighbor. At the top of the house, you can enjoy this coastal gem consisting of two floors and two terraces, the only one on the entire island. Sunbathe or just enjoy the view. Why not share a bottle of wine together with seafood from the local fishmonger? The bedrooms and bathroom are located on the lower floor, which gives you a whole upper floor to just hang out on. This creates a very pleasant and well-planned environment to be shown in both shorter but above all for longer stays.

Take the chance and rent our cozy cottage on Käringön. There is room for 10 people to sleep in proper beds. In the house, there is a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge and freezer, toilet with shower and washing machine. The house has a patio with a charcoal grill and lovely evening sun. On the island, there is a grocery store, cafes and restaurants and you can find lovely swimming areas in many places on the island. The house is located in central parts of Käringön and you will quickly get where you want to go.

House of 44 sqm with the possibility of accommodating five people. The house is beautifully located overlooking meadows and mountains. In front of the house there is a large lawn that can be used for games and other activities. It is five minutes walk to the sea and in the bay there is a rowboat that you can borrow. On the island there is a fish shop and restaurant, also a five-minute walk from the house. The island's landscape is diverse, with open sea and cliffs to the west, and small farms and forests in the centre.

Located on the outskirts of an old fishing village, nestled in the rocks itself between the roaring sea and the quite canal. Its close to the ocean and in between you find a landscape typical for the region, raw, beautiful and surreal. Hjalmars Farm the Studio

The guest apartment is located in the barn at our farm in Stigfjorden Nature Reserve. You see the open landscape with fields and farms, behind mountains and forests to walk in. Nearest bath is 1 km. The silence is significant even during the summer period. To Skärhamn 12 km, Pilane Art 8 km and to Sundsby manor 7 km. Welcome to the finest island in the archipelago. Here you have everything in the form of sun, swimming, restaurants and cafés. The grocery store is staffed 4 days a week but can be shopped in via the ICA togo app, the fish shop is open after the season. Here you can relax without any musts, but also activities if you wish. You can play mini golf and boules. Children can play in the playground and play soccer. Hike on the cliffs or walk on the north side with all the nice old houses.

A fully equipped, small, cozy cottage with a fantastic patio, sheltered from the wind with sun all day and evening. The sleeping loft is suitable for a family with children with 4 beds in a row (not suitable for more than 2 adults and 2 children 0-12 years). The cottage is centrally located on the island with proximity to the harbor, swimming, grocery store and restaurants. Cleaning is not included. Bed linens are not included.
