House vacation rentals in Katunayake

This was our first stay out of a few others in Sri Lanka. We had an amazing time. We, as a family of 5 stayed 2 nights at Lalin's place and it was a great start to our trip. Luxurio villa with greenery all around, not too far from city centre. Well spacious rooms and all available amenities at the kitchen made it a perfect stay. Cherry on the cake was the swimming pool which calls you to take a dip after a busy touristy dayout :-) Lalin and the caretaker was proactive, helped us with a flexible early check-in and also took care of our queries in advance. This property is a definite recommendation for anyone visiting Colombo. Thanks, Bithika

Welcome to paradise. Everything was perfect. We felt very comfortable and safe. The best part of the place was Jagath, who was always there when you needed him. He is a very friendly and helpful person. A highlight was the tour of the garden where everything possible grows, from cinnamon, mangoes, star fruit and other exotic fruits. The pool and the whole facility were very modern and luxurious. The place was the best thing about the whole vacation.

Thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay after a busy two week stay in Sri Lanka. Great staff who looked after us and made great recommendations for restaurants in Negombo. Loved the pool and gardens and view of the lake.

This is the 3rd time we are staying at Namal’s beautiful home. As always Namal is a great host and excellent service and support. Sumudu is a great caretaker. This will be our go to place whenever we visit Sri Lanka. Thank you Namal

Very good villa! First of all, it’s rather big and spacious, enough place for a big company or family. Beautiful garden and swimming pool. Safe parking for your car.

We had a great stay and Janith's Airbnb. Really good communication, and care taker was around if we needed any help with anything. Perfect for a group stay. Was clean, tidy. Pool was exactly what you needed with the heat and lit up in the evening so you could still enjoy it at night time. Would recommend... looking Forward to coming back :)

The property with the pool was a great deal! The pool & all the rooms and living spaces were clean and well maintained. The 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms had all the amenities listed including bed linen, towels etc. It was spacious for us to have our friends over to celebrate our birthdays together. Waruna was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. His mom opened the house to us and showed everything around. Note to remember to get down her phone number to call when checking out. There is a friendly cat, three was fish to feed him. Adorable! Definitely reccomend staying over!

One of our best holidays . The place was so peaceful and beautiful. The host Isuri and caretaker Shelton are really nice and helpful. We had a very relaxing weekend with our friends. This is really a hidden gem in the busy town of Moratuwa . Thank you !

It was a great place to stay, the owner did try to accuse us of mishandling their furniture. But it was resolved amicably, would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area. It is quite a drive from the main city, Colombo.

I was very happy with my stay at Osho's place. Exceptionally clean, functional and good quality furniture. One of the very few places in SL where the kitchen is spacious and well resourced, specially cooking pots were new and of great quality. Everything was top notch.... Congratulations to this family for putting so much care and attention. Location is perfect close to beach and to shops and transport. Ranjit, their father lives downstairs and was available by phone and personally when needed. For a solo female traveler very very safe indeed. I highly recommend Osho's place....you will be delighted and surprised on how welcoming this place feels As I need to return to Colombo I have already booked my second stay

Staying at Angela's Airbnb was such a great experience! From the moment we arrived, Angela's warm hospitality made us feel right at home. We felt the place was very secure and the herb garden was fantastic. The furnishings are carefully selected to relax or work and was close to local amenities. Angela truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. Angela even arranged for airport pick-up/drop-off, which made our stay super smooth. Most importantly, She helped us out by arranging a hairdresser for a special function we attended. Her friendly nature and dedication to her guests' comfort made our stay unforgettable. No request was too big or too small and we felt she truly cared about our wellbeing. Highly recommend staying here.

Hi, We loved our mini staycation which we extended to a looong vacation because we loved the place!! Initially we booked the place (Ape gedara to be specific😉) for 4 days, and then we kept extending and extending until maybe Mr.Don got tired of us as well (laughs🤣) and we stayed for like 7 nights in total. It was the best decision we took as I wanted to rest and relax after a long plane trip. My family loved it here too. We had ample space and facilities, specially the kitchen area with all the utensils made our staycation delightful!!! We should also mention Mr.Ajith, who took care of all our needs at a jinx. He was the sweetest caretaker we could’ve ever asked for. Thank you again! Hope to book your place again one day!! ♥️

Ms. Udeni was very helpful when we stayed and her place was very peaceful, had wonderful surroundings and is very clutter free and clean.

Enjoyed the stay..very quiet once inside the house. Flet like home with ample space to walk around.

This place was the perfect spot for a family. We enjoyed the house and it was the great last day in Sri Lanka! The location is a little on the inside roads but very beautiful. 25 mins to the CMB airport. The host was very kind and responsive and provided recommendations when requested. Would definitely recommend!

Very happy about our stay here, the place is exactly how it’s described. We had the ability to enjoy peacefully and lovely Jayantha was always available if needed. Close distance to our relatives and generally a great spot to stay in - convenient and private at the same time. Would definitely book again if I came back!

The house was very nice and we highly recommend it. It was very close to the swimming pool and several shops. It was also very easy to communicate with Ransika and her father. We overall had a wonderful time at this house.

I rented the accommodation to celebrated a get-together with a local Family which basically saved my Life another night. I am so Happy this Host supported the stay. Miss Suwandi was acting as intermediate and just so sweet and understanding. The House was perfect. The kitchen had all necessary. Beds have been cozy. All was in good condition. Having a Pool was fantastic. The neighbours have been nice. We invited them to have Pizza. I Just can highly recommend renting this House for your stay at Negombo with your Friends or Family. All "child Security" recommendations have been directly accepted by the owner as well. so weather Friends or/ and Family - that's the place to Rent.

So close to the main road, banks, supermarkets, etc. Nice Garden, Spacious rooms, and kitchen equipment. Clean Rooms and Bathrooms. Sumanasiri is so friendly and supportive. Flexible with Check-in and Check-out timings. Highly Recommended.

I had an amazing five-night stay at Canal View Cottage. The place exceeded my expectations—it’s even more valuable than the listing price! The host, Shira, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The cottage offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. Kumar’s place was fabulous. Jaya (house keeper) was such an amazing help, simply made our stay luxurious. Tuan (manager) was very responsive and helped with arranging everything.

The place was spotless and well-maintained! We stayed for over a month, and Janith’s dad was always available and happy to help whenever needed. As it was my first time using Airbnb, I was a bit nervous, but Janith reassured me that the place was safe and it truly was. Its proximity to the city was incredibly convenient. I’m so glad I chose this place because they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Ryan was an exceptional host. Very warm and welcoming. He was also available for us anytime over call or evwn a message. Regarding the stay everything was taken care of as mentioned in the listing. The place is well maintained and organized. The location is at walkable distance from supermarkets like keels and cargills and also from public transport. All kitchen essentials were present for light cooking. Bathrooms had the necessary toileteries. The rooms were spacious. The washing machine was in good condition. Iron provided was good. No issues with internet, electricity and water as well. We stayed at the property for 9 nights and we always felt at home. Would definitely recommend this property to others. Suggestion would be to put a clock in the living area and bedrooms if possible.
