This house in ​​Papaikou is surrounded by nature, waking up to the chirping of birds in the morning and sleeping to the croaking of coqui frogs at night. I had a very relaxing time. The two hosts were very kind and supported and taught me a lot. I would definitely like to come back if I have the opportunity. Mahalo.

We loved our stay at Hilo's treehouse as we called it. We wanted to feel like we were staying in Hawaii and not like it could be anywhere else, and boy did we. We feel asleep at night to frogs and woke up in the morning with the sun and and birds. It was very private but also a great spot to adventures this side of the island from. Hilo was a great host. He is very responsive and generous. It is such a special spot and we are so grateful that Hilo opens it up to share with others.

Comfortable, clean, private. Enjoyed our 11 day stay. Highly recommend staying there.
