Fantastic tiny cabin perfect for a few days of relaxing. The drive up is daunting but well worth the view (especially the night sky), cosy space, and outdoor tub. Luke was also kind enough to ask if we needed extra firewood on a cold, windy night which was much appreciated. Thank you for having us.

Graeme's bach is in a peaceful location that's perfect for unwinding and as a base to explore a gorgeous part of the north island. The porch was ideal to enjoy the view of the water while drinking a coffee in the sunshine in the morning and a glass of wine as the sun sets in the evening. We felt right at home.

Our stay at Piwakawaka Retreat was unforgettable! The highlight was definitely the panoramic view from the living room—waking up to the distant ocean (Aotea Harbour ) every morning felt like a dream. The photos don’t do it justice! The space itself was stylish and cozy, with everything we needed (fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and hammock. The host was super friendly and shared great recommendations for local cafes and scenic walks. The kids love to chatted with Piex and Cherry ( horses). They are very friendly! We will 100% return again! Thanks you so much for a special experience!

Henry is a good bloke and helps to improve the stay. Aotea is a great spot if you have a 4wd and well worth a visit!
