We had a wonderful stay at Kimiko’s Beach Loft! The space felt warm, welcoming and so so cozy with the wood burning fireplace. We had it going all weekend! The outdoor space was just as awesome as the indoor. Kimi and Scott thought of it all - we had everything we needed. We checked out some antique spots down the road, had a dip in the ocean, enjoyed the hot tub and cooked all weekend! It truly was a special weekend!

This is an absolutely amazing place. We will definitely be back. Dorian was great. We had some questions and he was very quick to respond. 10/10. Highly recommended.

Curtis’s place is the perfect spot to be close to White Point Beach and Liverpool. They had everything you could possibly need and more set up, the space was clean and accessible. The outdoor space really makes this place special! Hope to stay again soon!

Incredibly place to relax and unwind…. All the extra touches to an already stunning view made this a place to never want to leave. The cottage was perfectly cleaned and stocked and the hosts were kind and responsive. Will be back.

We Had a family reunion “staycation”!! This Was a perfect spot. Open space for the play pen and baby toys! Beautiful view & yard. We brought our own groceries and stayed in. The kitchen was very workable and had all the kitchen tools we could have needed. The wood stove was such a relaxing mood setter. The outdoor hot tub was lovely! (2 ppl) The deck was perfect for enjoying the outdoors with babies! Host had loads of little fine touches. Washer & dryer worked great! Parking was good, right next to the door and no stairs needed. Felt right at home and very comfortable! This is a perfect location of longer stays!

Spent another great weekend this Easter at Kayla’s . Super weather to go for long walks on the county road . This is the perfect private hideaway with an amazing view . Super clean and comfortable. The only downside was having to leave !

Mark's place was lovely! I and a group of 7 adults came here for a getaway. The pellet stove was super nice and easy to use and the hot tub was just as relaxing. Overall we didn't have any issue with the hot tub only fitting 6 as usually we didn't all want to use it at once anyways. Some of us found that the beds were even more comfortable than our beds back home and the place felt well put together. Surroundings were beautiful, peaceful and private with lots of outdoor seating. We also made use of the outdoor games that were available! The kitchen had everything we needed.Mark was also a fantastic host and responded to us within 10 minutes when we had any questions. Overall would definitely return!

We had an incredible stay for 2 nights. The cottage was spotless on our arrival and had loads of amenities. The hot tub and fire pit was a huge hit and the area is very quiet and peaceful for a perfect little getaway. Highly recommend Dean’s place.

Beautiful location, great beach for rock collecting with low tide. Socal table restaurant was very close and delicious. Not far from Lobster Pound which we enjoyed. Cottage is rustic, initially not sure about the outdoor shower as the weather was cool but it was worth the experience. We kept the wood stove going as it was cool the first night. Not your typical Airbnb stay, but worth it!

The LightKeeper’s Cottage was in a lovely location next to the lighthouse. The views were spectacular and we were fortunate to see deer, hawks and our first porcupine. The house was spacious and clean. Wendy also provided useful information for our stay. We would definitely recommend this property.

The cottage was exactly what we were hoping for. Tranquility Cove is precisely that, a tranquil spot perched on the edge of the ocean. As a host Bonnie was wonderfully responsive and very gracious. The cottage itself was well appointed with comfortable beds (an essential). Despite the fact that we were there for the coldest and iciest days of February, we were still able to on a series of hikes, so to that end the cottage is perfectly located for people who like to explore the more southernly part of Nova Scotia's gorgeous South Shore. We felt at home and at peace immediately, that sense of comfort permeated our entire stay. I strongly recommend Tranquility Cove as an ideal location for a quiet getaway.

Such a sweet little spot! Perfect little dog-friendly accommodation, perfectly stocked with everything you could need. It was a cold weekend and the cottage was very warm and cozy. Cottage was extremely clean and very thoughtfully decorated. There is no tv or microwave (fyi) which was fine, but wanted to note that here for readers. Beautiful linens everywhere. Thank you! I had a lovely stay at David and Nancy's cottage. The cottage was roomy, spotlessly clean and fully equipped (the kitchen had a few items in it that I don't even have in my own kitchen). It was comfortable and convenient and David and Nancy were responsive, kind and generous. I would definitely stay with them again the next time I am in Hubbards. (I'd come back just for Nancy's homemade chocolate mints!)

We were looking for a quiet place near Annapolis Royal yet out-of-town, and we found it. The trips to surrounding towns, restaurants, and tourist sites were easy and there was little traffic. Although not all the rooms in the cabin have been fully renovated yet, Patrick thoughtfully provided comfortable furnishings, and there were many 'homey' touches that we appreciated, like adequate lighting in each room, good quality linens and towels, and flowers on the table. We enjoyed the well-supplied kitchen, great shower, and deck for relaxing, outdoor breakfasts, and views of Milbury Lake from the private beach. Patrick was a responsive host and made sure we arrived safely and had everything we needed.

The location was so beautiful and quiet! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. The one amenity that we missed was a dryer but the portable washer worked well. The host was very communicative and we felt like we get got a great bargain. Even though I came from the west coast, I got up at sunrise each morning and it was memorable!

Stones Throw Cottage is our favourite spot on the LaHave River. We continue to go back because of the location, private setting in a nice little cove , but also because of how well the cottage is set up and now to make it even better, it has a heat pump! Views of the river right from the deck and dining table are beautiful with wildlife sightings daily!! Joe the host is excellent and responds quickly, and is a great person.

We honestly couldn't believe how beautiful and pristine the property was, the picture's don't do it justice! We ended up arriving later on in the evening, so seeing the water and views in the morning was breaking! The place was so cozy, and had absolutely everything you would need. We absolutely recommend this place to everyone, with a few of us already dreaming of another getaway here!

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the cottage. The place was spotlessly clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The place is very private and we got to enjoy the kayaks and a lovely bonfire under the stars. The hosts are very accommodating, friendly and responsive. We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. The property is absolutely stunning—immaculately landscaped, with a spacious lawn leading right to the lake and a lovely sandy beach. The grounds were ideal for families, with lots of room for the kids to run, play, and even ride their bikes on the hard surface areas. In the evenings, the adults enjoyed gathering around the fire pit—it was the perfect spot to unwind. Inside, the home was just right for our large family gathering. We had four couples and five little ones, and the space worked beautifully—comfortable, open, and thoughtfully laid out for both togetherness and relaxation. Caitlin was a fantastic host—so easy to communicate with, warm, and responsive. The whole experience felt more like being welcomed into someone’s home than staying in a typical rental. It was charming, cozy, and truly special. We’re already looking forward to the chance to return!
