“We stayed at Gecko's two nights do we could see Kelimutu and it met, even exceeded, all our expectations. We loved the family atmosphere that surrounds the entire place. Thank you guys for inviting us to join in family dinners, for laying card games with us, for giving us some bananas and mango to take with us to our early flight out of Ende, and for creating such a special place. We will be back for sure! Can not recommend this place highly enough.”
“We really enjoyed our stay because of the lovely garden and good location. The hosts are very friendly and make the effort to have a conversation. A very cosy place in a beautiful environment to explore!”

“We had a great stay at Ecolodges. The views from our room were stunning and all the staff are really friendly. It is only a 10minute walk from Moni so quite easy to go out for food in the evening. The restaurant does serve dinner but we chose to go out. The staff arranged a motorbike hire for us. The s first one we had didn’t have any lights, so they changed it for us to a second one which didn’t have any mirrors. That is the only criticism I’d have but they were helpful in trying to get it changed. We took the bike up to Kelimutu which is really easy to do on your own rather though they can arrange a driver if you’d prefer. Would recommend to stay here - it’s a lovely little oasis.”
