Vacation rentals in King Island

My friend and I have been really happy to live in Johney's Air bnb. We had first booked 4 nights, but decided that it was not enough time in the lovely city at all and we therefore booked 2 extra nights. The locals in town are welcoming and helpful. Nearby you will find several delicious beaches. We loved Lonely Beach and Palm Beach, among other things. Even though it's a small town, there's ample opportunity for various delicious eateries. There is both the option of authentic local eateries as well as more western alternatives. All in a great experience that we would definitely recommend if you want to experience Koh Rong from a more authentic side, away from more touristy areas.

Perfect accomodation to enjoy M'Pai Bay. The location is very convenient just 2 min walking from the pier, restaurants, bars and markets nearby. One of Kristen's friends add me to a discussion group with suggestions for restaurants and even food delivery. And I have the pleasure to have the visit of the neighbour's cat every morning. Thank you very much for this lovely experience.

Although significantly pricier than almost all other accommodations in the village, I think the stay was ultimately worth the price because the private room is comfortable, clean, and the amenities are nice. The ability to pay via card is extremely convenient too, considering there's no ATM on the island. It's clear that Alexx puts a lot of thought and care into the guesthouse i.e. offering "Full Moon Boat Parties" and a to-go "picnic" option on the menu. The guesthouse definitely has a level of "Western flare" that is very attractive to tourists. The bar and kitchen serve a really nice selection, and everyone working in the guesthouse is very lovely with really nice energy. Alexx also gives very detailed instructions to her guests on how to get to and from the island, which was very helpful. M’Pai Bay is such a wonderful place that staying anywhere in the village is a pleasure, but if someone really wants to treat themselves then I recommend staying at Alexx's place.
