We had a really wonderful stay. The accommodation was spacious, well appointed with a mixture of modern and rustic. The bathroom was really fantastic and the bed was so comfortable with crisp, clean bedding that was pretty luxurious. The grounds are a pleasure to walk around and you really could spend all day exploring. Elizabeth was so helpful and kept us updated on our booking all through the journey and beyond. A fantastic host! I would highly recommend a stay here and would happily stay here again in the future. All in all we found it to be an excellent base for exploring the Wiltshire area. Lovely place. Private and very quiet. Felt right at home. Accommodation is modern with trendy furnishings. Added extras a thoughtful addition. Host was responsive. Appreciated the information file with clear descriptions of what was included in the accommodation. Liked that the owner recycle, consider the environment and allergies. Would definitely recommend The Shop to friends.

A really lovely place in a very pretty village. It was exactly what we needed to be very close to Chippenham but also able to enjoy long countryside walks every morning. Lovely sitting room to relax in each evening with a fire, and a beautiful bedroom. We especially enjoyed meeting the cats! Thank you very much.

We stayed overnight at The Loft to attend an event at Kin House, and it was perfectly positioned at just a few minutes drive away, or even walkable with the right shoes if somehow a taxi hadn't been available. The place was bright, clean, and had everything we needed for our brief visit, and was the ideal place to return to late at night, with it's own access and comfortable beds. Ros went above and beyond in her communication, flexibility, and generosity. We highly recommend The Loft, thank you Ros!
