Sundhouse ist ein schönes verschlafene Örtchen mit sehr guter Bäckerei und Metzgerei. Von dort sind viele schöne Ausflugsziele erreichbar. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön gelegen sowie super schön, gepflegt und sehr sauber. Cathie, die sehr nette Gastgeberin, hat alles sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Terrasse und die Sommerküche sind richtig toll. Unterm Scheunendach können Tischtennis, Federball und Boule gespielt werden. Ein Ferienhaus mit Wow-Effekt. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft sowie für den leckeren Kuchen und Wein zur Begrüßung.

Tres agréable maison pour notre famille. Nous étions 9 et avions d agréables espaces pour chacun ainsi qu une belle terrasse ensoleillée le matin. Le village est très calme, une bonne boulangerie juste à côté. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques, discrets, disponibles et de bons conseils (merci pour l idée de balade pour notre retour). Super déco et propreté +++. Merci beaucoup

Wir haben die Unterkunft für ein schönes Wochenende in Straßburg gebucht. Insgesamt waren wir sechs Leute. Die Lage des Hauses war wunderbar und sehr Ruhig. Optimale Möglichkeit zum parken von größeren Auto war gegeben. Die Kontaktaufnahme mit der Gastgeberin war ausgezeichnet. Kann das Haus jedem weiterempfehlen :)

Notre séjour à Birkenwald a été une très belle expérience. Le gîte, situé dans un environnement très calme, est confortable, extrêmement propre et très bien agencé. Le tout est décoré avec goût. Ma famille et moi ne pouvons que vous recommander de séjourner chez Matthieu qui est un hôte idéal : sympathique, serviable, accueillant, attentionné, réactif. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir à Birkenwald pour un séjour à la Grange.

Marc's place was lovely - well kept, clean and lots of space for our group. The area is also beautiful with lots of great restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!

Un gite tres agréable, spacieux ,très propre!!! Proche de belle ville et villages à visiter... Nous avons passé un tres bon sejour. Propriétaire discrète et dispo si besoin.

Everything was ideal. Easy access, self check-in/out, private area with private garden, ideal for introverts :) Apartment is well equipped: kitchen stuff, coffee machine, TV, strong wifi, A/C which can heat and cool the room. Parking is outside, next to the entrance - making it easy to bring a box of Alsace wine inside. Pets are allowed! We were there with our cat and he was happy. Area is very calm. A typical Alsace village with 3(!) wineries within walking distance, with friendly and nice people. 30 mins by car to Calmar, 10 mins by car to the nearest medieval castle's "ruins". Only one "neutral" comment is about the bathroom: the ventilation wasn't stable, so time to time it was quite humid inside the bathroom. As a recommendation it would be nice to install a screen between the shower and the bathroom area. Everything else was perfect! 5 stars.
