Bungalow with covered terrace, meadow and private access in a quiet settlement directly on the edge of the forest, 5 minutes' walk to the swimming lake (Stiche)/forest pool, directly behind our house. Supermarket is 5 minutes by car / 10 minutes by bike. Wine bar, beer gardens, restaurants, canoe rental, etc. are available in the area. The train station is a 5-minute walk (RE 12: Berlin Ostkreuz - Zehdenick Neuhof).

There is a boat house with its own jetty. Canoe, kayaks and sailing dinghies (sailing skills required) can be rented. The surrounding gardens are a work in progress. The property is quite large and you can always find a quiet and peaceful spot in the sun. The night sky is wonderful for star gazing. Up to 10 stork families nest in the village from April to August each year.

On a hill, nestled by old trees, stands 1 of 3 unconventional huts with 2 beds each. In any weather (except in winter), the cabin can offer camping friends, cyclists or last-minute guests an overnight stay as an alternative to the tent. Just a sleeping bag and a towel in your luggage. The comfort consists of a roof over your head, a place to sleep, a nice campfire and a warm outdoor shower with separate toilet.

Cottage in Menz, swimming lake in 350m, sustainable

The lively village is located in the nature park Stechlin-Ruppiner Land directly on a beautiful lake, adjacent to the nature reserve Stechlin and the landscape reserve Fürstenberger Wald- und Seengebiet, with an incomparable landscape of vast forests and lonely lakes. The bathing area with sandy beach can be reached on foot in two minutes. The house is located on a 700 sqm plot and was furnished with love.
