Monthly Rentals in Knowlton

We chose a long weekend the week before Easter. The house and the location matched our expectations and needs. Allan’s meet and greet on arrival was a warm welcome and informative. Brook House is a lovely home and we had a great stay. The spacious kitchen, bedrooms downstairs, wood burner and hot tub are real highlights. We enjoyed a BBQ and a Sunday Roast during our stay. The outdoor patio lights work very well to enjoy the garden in the evenings. The house is wonderfully located to explore the south coast and nearby attractions. We enjoyed a walk to the local club for drinks and live music. (Only available Fridays) on the first evening. We did a day trip to Brownsea Island which was fun. Moors Valley Country Park and Forest nearby offers a lot of options for a family Sunday outing. Our only fault was not staying a few more days!

We had a lovely stay at Clare’s b&b over a weekend of a friends wedding in the local area. Clare was very welcoming and friendly and helped us with recommendations of where to eat and local taxi companies to use. The air b&b was spacious and very clean and in a lovely location. We felt very at home and would highly recommended staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. The addition of breakfast bits and homemade shortbread made our stay extra special. Thank you Clare for your hospitality.

Maple lodge is a lovely place to stay. Clean and welcoming! Comfortable and attractive. We felt right at home.

We extended our stay before going and we were not disappointed. Vicky had left us some essentials along with half a dozen fresh laid eggs. Getting up in the morning, walking into the lounge and looking straight out of the window was a dream - horses in paddock and countryside beyond. Not a building in sight. The only sounds were from the birds and the occasional neigh from a horse. This morning, before leaving, I spotted a deer in the back of the field. You can walk to the edge of Vicky’s Farm and get straight onto the public footpath. There are plenty of country pubs within a short drive and Wimborne is nearby with pubs, restaurants and Waitrose. So we had all the amenities and total tranquility once back in the farm.
