Cabin size about 150 square meters, 2 floors with balcony Space for 8 people. 2 double rooms, 1 room with 2 bunk beds. You heat with the wood-burning stove as in the old days. The rooms are heated via the parlor stove. Water is available from the well in front of the door. Light via solar and with petroleum lamps. Barbecue No Wi-Fi.

The Bad Hofgastein Alpentherme thermal baths, the town centre, and the Schlossalmbahn cable car can be reached in just a few minutes. Bad Hofgastein train station is about a 10-minute walk away. For flexible arrival, we offer self check-in, which also allows for later arrivals.

Hausberger Alpine Lodge

100-year-old log cabin, which was demolished in the neighboring village in 2008 and rebuilt at our organic mountain farm. Particular care was taken in the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, old wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a solar thermal system. The bathroom has underfloor heating. The cozy little house (75 m²) served as our residence for 10 years.

A freestanding bathtub and our Swiss pine sauna are certainly among the things that are not so easily found elsewhere.

In winter, Grossarl has a state-of-the-art ski resort with beautiful downhill runs and deep snow slopes. Since our house is located on a hill at 2.5 km mountain road snow chains are recommended in winter.
