Monthly Rentals in Koog aan de Zaan

Thanks to Max and Rose for their home which was a peaceful oasis during this stay in Amsterdam. The accommodation was very well equipped, comfortable and cozy: we felt like we were in a cocoon. The instructions given by the hosts prior to arrival were very clear and precise. Thank you again for your hospitality!

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

We were very happy with the stay, Lauren’s and his wife were very communicative and friendly, answered all of our questions - provided us with tips of the surrounding area , where to shop, how to get to Amsterdam and any other open questions we had. The location was very clean and a nice size for 4 people! To get to Amsterdam was also super easy, either with bus and train or uber ! We were very happy and are open to come visit again :)
