Villa Poikkilahti is an atmospheric cottage for four people, only about 50 meters from the Tornionjoki River. From the cottage, there is a road leading to the beach, which is for your exclusive use. The river has a sandy bottom. In winter, there is a long sledding hill and a cross-country ski trail next to the cottage. Internet 500/500 is included through a private fibre connection. Cable and Wi-Fi connection. Made beds, bed linen, and towels are included. Free parking, space for a car with a trailer. The accommodation is equipped with a code lock for easy check-in and check-out; the code is changed for each booking. Restaurants, shops and services within walking distance.

The property has a sheltered and large yard that can accommodate even larger cars. There's a barbecue cabin in the yard. In winter, you can even see the northern lights. The center of Tornio and the Swedish border are about 6 km away, Kemi 24 km, Rovaniemi 119 km and Santa Claus' Pajakylä 127 km. I live with my family in the same yard. The price includes linen and towels.

The house has four separate bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a dining area, two toilets and a shower room with a wood-fired sauna. The large backyard is fenced, so pets can run freely. The boat shore and Ylitornio's fine sandy beaches are only about 1 km away. Ainiovaara's magnificent skiing and outdoor areas are located nearby. The Aavasaksa ski slopes are about 15 km away.
