Villa Poikkilahti is an atmospheric cottage for four people, only about 50 meters from the Tornionjoki River. From the cottage, there is a road leading to the beach, which is for your exclusive use. The river has a sandy bottom. In winter, there is a long sledding hill and a cross-country ski trail next to the cottage. Linens and towels included in the price. Kätkävaara nature trail nearby. There are hundreds of kilometers of different outdoor trails in the area.

Sonka Resort’s Mirror Houses are set by a frozen lake, surrounded by forest and open sky. Each cabin has a mirrored exterior for privacy, a lake-view glass wall, double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a projector screen. Local breakfast is available on request with at least three days’ notice. With several BBQ kotas on the premises, guests can enjoy outdoor cooking anytime. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

The house has four separate bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a dining area, two toilets and a shower room with a wood-fired sauna. The large backyard is fenced, so pets can run freely. The boat shore and Ylitornio's fine sandy beaches are only about 1 km away. Ainiovaara's magnificent skiing and outdoor areas are located nearby. The Aavasaksa ski slopes are about 15 km away.
