Monthly Rentals in Koseč

This is a very cozy holiday home in a perfect location. We have stayed in lots of places perched in different European mountain ranges (Dolomites, Carinthian Alps, Picos de Europa, etc.) and the view from this house over the village and valley ranks among our favorites. The drive first from Kobarid into Drežnica and then from Drežnica up to the house is easy as well, and (apart from a very short segment right by the house) is all paved—in our experience it often takes driving some steep and harrowing backroads to get to a view this good, so it was quite convenient to be able to come and go so easily here (especially since you're close to so many great hikes and other destinations in every direction). Roman and Milena are generous and welcoming hosts who made us feel at home right away. Wifi was strong and consistent, allowing us to do a bit of remote work. The huge open fireplace is delightful. The kitchen is basic but very functional, and we did plenty of cooking. Perfect!

We spent a lovely two days at Erica's apartment. The house is in a beautiful valley, surrounded by mountains and green fields. Our son most enjoyed playing in the real rustic barn with hay. A joy for the whole family was feeding the goats that Erica raises. The house is lovely, very authentic, with lots of lovely retro furniture, and you could sell your soul for the view from the kitchen window! The house has everything you need, the only thing we perhaps lacked was sharp knives. Erika treated us to some incredibly delicious homemade potica, and there were also eggs from Erika's chickens. It felt like visiting the home of beloved grandparents in the countryside - perfect! The only important thing to note: the house is right at the foot of a delightful historic church, which is very active, so if you are not a heavy sleeper and do like fresh air from open windows — you will have to wake up really early! ;) Which is not bad in itself, cause there is LOTS to see in the area!

A beautiful and peaceful place in the mountains. The accommodation is clean and has everything you need. The whole place is kids friendly, there is a playground around the house. Amadej is a super host, great communication, everything went perfectly. 100m from the house there is a parking space for you. We recommend 12/10!
