Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The vacation rental is below the village of Amden. The farmer's family also lives in the same house. For the hay harvest or other work, there may therefore be some noise (milking machine, hay ventilation) or there are odor emissions (garbage). However, we make an effort, and take this into account as much as possible. We have cats, dog and chickens, the goats and cows are from June-September on Alp. We sell organic milk and eggs. Dogs are allowed, just book along, cost CHF 30.

An oasis of calm, simple, natural and homely. I rent out a 2 bedroom apartment in old farmhouse with wood heating. A private kitchen and bathroom are provided. There are also two unheated rooms available in the attic floor. The house is surrounded by a large garden with cozy places to relax. Behind the house the creek gurgles. It is an ideal starting point for hiking and biking. The house is radio-free, no mobile network, no Wi-Fi, Internet via cable.

The vacation home half is in a quiet location. On the ground floor, there are spacious lounges with a terrace facing east. Please note that the house can only be used vegetarian. On the 1st floor there are 3 bedrooms, with one bedroom being a walk-through room for the bedroom behind it. The wooden house is comfortably furnished with wooden furniture and has everything it needs for a nice stay. Games available for all ages.
