A home that suited our family perfectly where we could mix sights at a reasonable distance, Karin tips on good swimming spots with just enjoying the tranquility of the farm where the hosts always took time for our children all the questions. So really a great place to stay that we would love to come back to!

We arrived late and left early. We had a good dialogue with the hosts before arrival. They always responded very quickly when we had any questions. The apartment was clean and fresh and met our expectations. Thank you so much for us!

Sanne is a very good host in response quickly to questions. Can recommend this home with all my heart and will definitely come back again.

We visited Skälsnäs Gård for Easter with our two children of 1 and 4, and we had a great time. We haven't lived in a house with so much soul before, and we felt so comfortable. It's the perfect getaway for kids who love to play, both inside and out. The nature is very beautiful and the surroundings were quiet and idyllic. The house is older, but the kitchen and bathroom are equipped with modern amenities, and it was easy to cook for the family. Vaxjo is the main town nearby and it takes about 30 min by car. Cozy town with good bakeries and cafes. Since there are no shopping opportunities close by, we recommend making a meal plan so you don't have to shop every day. There is a water park (Actic) that our kids loved and we visited twice. The place is easy to find and the host was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We will definitely come back.

Lovely place especially for those who love nature and animals. Cats, chickens and roosters add to the overall atmosphere of the place. Stugan was warm and cosy even in the relatively cold winter with an electric blanket in the downstairs bedroom. We were provided with plenty of firewood and eggs, which are probably better than anything you can get in your local supermarket. The owner takes good care of her guests and is easy to contact by app or mobile phone.

We spent a week in the house lovingly decorated by Britt and immediately felt comfortable. The little details were charming and really felt like the real Bullerbü. Exactly what we were looking for and hoping for. We were allowed to use the herb garden and harvest what we needed and cooked delicious applesauce from the windfalls. The upper area was also lovingly designed and had a lot to offer for the children: books and stories by Astrid Lindgren, pens for painting, games and there was even a guitar and an old record player. The sauna could be used and warmed us up well. Don't worry about the cold in autumn and winter, the 3 tiled stoves heat the house up to the upper floor if they are well fired. We were well supplied with wood from the barn. Rowboat and island were easy to find with the help of the map and instructions. We had a great time! 🫶🇸🇪

I spent 9 days at Monica's apartment and travelled to various places in the area. Apartment is adequate for 2 people with a comfortable bed and a small kitchen. It is in a very quiet and beautiful area which I really enjoyed. Recommended if you wish to spend time in the country side.

We had a perfect time in Humlaryd. Really great place.

We spent five wonderful days in this cozy house and had an amazing time surrounded by peaceful nature. We enjoyed hiking and swimming in nearby lakes and the quiet atmosphere was perfect for unwinding. The sauna next to the house and the spaciousness of the house made it ideal for cooking, relaxing, playing board games and disconnecting from everyday life. Thank you so much for that!! We would always come back - highly recommended!!

Cozy cabin in beautiful setting. Clean and nice, comfortable beds and very peaceful.

It's our second visit with Ingrid, we were there in late October 2024 and we felt so much at home that when we had to find a destination of 3 nights for our little Easter holiday, it was an easy choice. We've had some wonderful days and Ingrid is very hospitable and had decorated for Easter.

This stay was really great. The countryside is splendid and the surrounding lakes and natural parks are just as magical. The spot for swimming 5 minutes away by car is very nice and we were able to meet some very friendly people. The unit is small but very cute clean and charming. Klara and Olof hosted us very warmly and were available when we needed. The kids also loved the cats visiting us and were very sad to leave them. We recommend

Great home-away-from-home feeling. Large outdoor space/garden, spacious house. We enjoyed the toys for the kids, and the kids enjoyed the cats a lot too :) And, a great place to explore the surroundings (Nice cities/towns, sea-side, lakes).

The place was super clean, perfect size for us (2 adults, a 3-month-old baby and a small dog). We felt super comfortable and everything was available. Even a crib and high chair were available in the accommodation. If you are traveling in a group of four, the sofa bed can be used in addition to the double bed. The heating and air conditioning were also available and worked well. The outdoor area was great, so we were able to have breakfast on the terrace a few times. Sölve and Ingegerd are super lovely people and always available immediately. For children it is also a dream, hiking through the cow pasture, chickens next to the climbing frame and the climbing frame itself are really great. Directly from the farm you could start two great hikes that led directly through blueberry and cranberry forests. We will be happy to come back and highly recommend the accommodation.

Very cozy cottage with everything you needed on a nice farm. Generous hosts who took the time to show the kids the lambs and fixed everything when a single thing was missing. Recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Akhult, it was much more than we have hoped for. The location right next to lake Fiolen was perfect, the possibility to borrow a rowing boat and the bikes was wonderful for us and the kids (11 and 14 year old). The house is cozy and well equipped and tastefully furnished, you can tell that Erik (Katjas husband) owned a furniture shop and knows a thing or two about wood working. If you are looking for a quiet place in the midst of Smalands vast woodlands I can wholeheartedly recommend Katja's and Erik's house. We were very fortunate to have perfect summer weather in late August and early September. We would love to come back at some point... Thank you so much.

Very spacious house. If you like the tranquility, this is the place you need to be. There is a lot of nature and things to do nearby. Think about the big lake at Almhult, among other things. Here are several forests, where berries and mushrooms can grow and be picked. Other than that, having the cows next to the house was a pleasure. Sven was a good host and we will definitely come back again:-).

It was perfect for two families, we had such a great time, and the hosts were lovely. They helped us with everything we needed. We went fishing, enjoyed the hot tub, and the house had plenty of space for all of us. It was peaceful and so relaxing to unwind on the big terrace. We’d all love to come back next year. We arrived after midnight on our first day as we had problems with the car. When we arrived, the house was lit with candles and there were fresh plums from the garden in a bowl on the table. It was great. The next morning we were greeted by Lars-Olof and the two (very friendly) dogs. He told us what to do in the area and offered us to stay another day for free because we had arrived so late. We had a very nice stay and recommend the place to anyone looking for a quiet and friendly spot that is also great for small children.

We stayed as a family (two adults, two children, 5 years + 1 year old) stayed in Philip's place in the summer. The house is very nice, spacious and clean. The accommodation is extremely well equipped, much more than we expected (any kitchen utensils, e.g. hand mixer, peeler, various sharp knives, casseroles, many plates, spices and much more.; washer and dryer, plenty of storage space through cabinets, books, toys for the kids, good Wi-Fi, modern TV, etc.). We were in regular contact with Philip, he answered all our questions quickly and in detail, and he also contacted us in between. We found that to be very nice and polite. The place itself is quiet and full of beautiful nature. There were two entry points for swimming in the lake (via a small beach and via the jetty), the lake was very shallow, but optimal for swimming with small children. We had a lovely time staying at Philip's place.

We had a wonderful time as a family in Älmesås. The house was renovated with a lot of love for detail and we felt at home from the first minute. The house offers plenty of space and is very well equipped. There was also a children's room for our little daughter, including toys. The house is in the middle of the forest and you have absolute peace!! In the garden you will find currants, raspberries, strawberries, cherries and apples. Blueberries and mushrooms are just a short walk away. The closest supermarket is in Moheda, about 8 minutes by car. In the area you can go hiking and walking. Not far away there is also a very nice swimming spot. The hosts are extremely nice and helpful and respond very quickly if you have a question. The tips for the area were very valuable.
