Such a lovely house and amazing surroundings. We had plenty of snow and a frozen lake: a perfect winter wonderland for christmas. We saw the northern lights on new years eve. The house has everything you need. We didn’t meet the owner, but she was fast to respond to any questions. Highly recommend for quiet nature time with the family!

Amazing, pleasant, and tidy cottage. Lovely nature's spring sounds, quite lovely and lush in the summer. We could definitely visit again. An outdoor barbecue area needs a slightly newer grate, for example, if you want to cook outdoors on an open fire. However, we got the delicious treats done and relaxed in the hot tubs and saunas.

Jukka and Maru's island is a gem! It's situated in a peaceful lake and offers a lot of privacy. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and in great condition. During the day we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace, exercised on the pier, warmed up in the sauna and cooled down in the lake. We loved exploring the surroundings by kayak and canoe, and due to the islands relatively remote location, there is little light pollution. One of the most memorable experiences was rowing after midnight, gazing at the milky way above us and listening to the wolves howling in the background. Life really slows down on the island, time becomes irrelevant. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking peace in the beautiful Finnish nature. As hosts Jukka and Manu were warm, welcoming and very responsive. We immediately felt at home! They provided lots of great recommendations and were in touch even after a storm to check if we're alright. Kiitos for an unforgettable stay at your mökki! :)

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Very relaxing. Jaana was a very good host and communicated very quickly and was friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful and the lake is very calming. We used the fishing rods and fished from the boat which was also fun - thanks Jaana!

We booked the cabin for a stopover on the way to the North Cape in January. In advance, we were informed that there is underfloor heating, but it cannot really heat the hut, and there is only an outdoor toilet. Since this was not a problem for us, we still traveled and it was definitely worth it. Equipped with sleeping bags, it was cozy and pleasant for 3 people even in winter. Also the view of the frozen lake with sunrise was worth the overnight stay. Even though I think the cottage is more designed for the summer, it is also worth a visit in winter and perfect for an overnight stay

Very clean home with good location from downtown and train station. The garage space served our visit, as some of the party arrived by car. The double bed was excellent. The apartment had everything you need, from a hair dryer to a pasta pit. We could definitely visit this place again ☺️ One of the sheets was exhausted, but Ari brought them to us as soon as we asked. The encounter made me feel comfortable and welcome. Thanks for the great setting 🙏

We spent a nice weekend at Tarja's place. Everywhere was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well-equipped. The main house has a little smell of grandma, the sauna building didn't have this. The accompanying dog was allowed to run in the spacious fenced yard.

The apartment was nice and spacious, it was like coming to a four-star hotel, chocolate candy on the table, and towels nicely folded, the kitchen with all the amenities, and the dog was thoughtful of her own. No comments for a more accurate person. Balcony cozy. The surroundings are cozy in every way.

We enjoyed the holiday here with my family of 5 and friends. A great place to stay with a bigger group and just next to the Tahko Mountains. Sauna was great addition after a long day outdoors. Living room & kitchen was nice open space where we spent most of the time together and the bedrooms offered privacy if needed. We can warmly recommend this place!
