The cabin is located in the middle of the ski resort and the cross-country skis are located directly on the downstream side. The cottage is excellent location for summer activities too, with fishing waters and great hiking opportunities. The cabin is located right on a lake with swimming and fishing opportunities. You have a panoramic view of the water and the Gausta peak from the living room. The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell winterland.Approximately 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country slopes. The location right between Bø and Notodden offers opportunities for shopping and restaurants. In the summer it is possible to rent the canoe ( in sharing with my other cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- per day.

Newer cabin with a great view and nice hiking opportunities

Eel cabin listed in 2017 in Øygarden cabin field. There is a small cabin area with good distance between the cabins and you have great hiking opportunities right outside the door. Cabin has 3 bedrooms. There is a bed for 7, but is best suited for couples or families with children. There is a personal touch on the cabin as it is often used by us as well, so there will be basic items in the kitchen cabinet and there may be items in the refrigerator with durability. Use whatever you need during your stay.

The cabin is newly built in 2023, luxurious, fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.
