It's up to you whether you opt to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings and sea breeze or join in the multitude of outdoor activities that are available. Well maintained tracks and trails lend themselves to long walks or cycles. The parkrun is a must do. We are surrounded with numerous unique birding spots such as - Ongoye Forest (home to the Green Barbet) is a 30-minute drive from the lodge.

The Cottage on the Corner

Set apart from the main house, the Cottage on the Corner is a cozy, romantic escape for two. With sliding doors that open into the cool breeze in summer and a wood burning stove to keep you toasty in winter you will find yourself relaxed. Breakfast is not included in the room rate but is available at very reasonable prices. The unit is serviced daily. We have full service DSTV. Close to many activities you can do as much or as little as you choose to make your stay in Himeville special.

Our Deluxe double room offers a comfortable double bed, with and an en-suite bathroom. Beautiful views of Krantszkloof conservancy from the patio. We do have our animals on the property, 2 small Daxies, a Boerboel a mixed breed young dog as well as cat.
