We had a wonderful stay at Steeve's place. The accommodation served as a perfect base for the beginning of our trip. It is located near the airport, and a short drive from nearby Mahebourg. Steeve was on hand the whole time, and offered up great recommendations for restaurants and day trips. You will need a car to get around as the village is fairly remote, but 100% worth it for the stunning views of the ocean and quiet peaceful surroundings. The bed was very comfy, and kitchen incredibly well equipped meaning we could easily cook in the apartment. We loved the little touches from Steeve such as providing a welcome drink, and sharing some of his homemade rum, along with flexibility over check in (we appreciate he can't always do this depending on if there is another booking, but it was super helpful that we could arrive straight off our early morning flight). Thank you again Steeve for your hospitality and insight into Mauritian culture!

Kersley is friendly and responsive. The place is decent for staying near airport, don’t expect five star facilities. I stayed there only for 4 hours to freshen up before catching my long haul flight. Good Value for money.

My husband and I spent 3 days on the last leg of our vacation. The house is a real gem and is well decorated. It is equipped with various useful items, from beach umbrellas to rotating and ceiling fans, from electric mosquito repellent for the rooms and to modern practically new air conditioning units that are not as noisy as some others I have encountered on this trip! The house is very well situated when one has a car. It is 10 min from the airport, 10-12 min from the beautiful Point d’Esny beach and close to restaurants in Mahebourg. The neighborhood is « authentic » and not touristy, a welcome change from the west coast. The bed in the Master bedroom was really comfy. We spent the last 3 days of our vacation at Point d’Esny and outside on the terrace where we could listen to the birds underneath the ceiling fan(this is a real plus) and enjoy this magnificent tropical garden.
