We loved the nice dock, the warm water and kayaks. Unfortunately there was a fire ban on - but swimming and lounging on the dock all day had us to bed nice and early anyways; no big loss. We saw a deer swimming, a turtle heading into the water, lots of ducks and heard even more. Very tranquil spot. "best weekend ever" was on repeat. Cheers.”

In the area for vacation or work, this fantastic year round home/cottage on a beautiful piece of lakefront property is only 12-15 minutes from Bridgewater, less then 30 minutes to Mahone Bay or Lunenburg and 1 hour from Halifax. 2 full bedrooms upstairs and a downstairs that can also accommodate 2 people. This amazing getaway is equipped with a heat pump, electric fireplace, pellet stove downstairs, wifi and satellite TV. Enjoy the gorgeous sunsets over the lake. Cozy place any time of year!

Being able to canoe on a quiet lake with no traffic noise and seeing more stars at night than we could ever see in our light polluted skies at home were two bonus features of this place that we really enjoyed. This home is clean and well equipped. A refrshing breeze flows through the cottage when all the windows are opened. It is about seven kms to the nearest bakery/ice cream parlour that we could find and the town of Bridgewater, with all the common stores that you would need, is just a few kms beyond that. If you enjoy peace and quiet, and being in natural surroundings relatively close to many south coast treasures, then I would definitely recommend this place!”
