Monemvasia is a special and historical place. Having the opportunity to stay in the castle walls was an unforgettable experience. This home was spacious for two. The location in the Castle was very nice. In the pictures it looks like there is rooftop access in the home but there is not. Home is a bit musty but after running the AC seems ok (it is a very old building after all). Host checked us in and made us feel right at home. Overall great experience and highly recommend. Be prepared for lots steps. If you want to see all the sites of the castle there is a great deal of walking to get up the hills but worth it. Some of the sites are only open Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon so if you want to get the full experience those days are best. Snorkeling is a must. I had a great experience of snorkeling with a massive sea turtle among many other small fish.

...wir hatten die allerbeste Zeit in Poulithra. Sofia und vor allem Ihre Mutter Chrysa, waren sehr gute und herzliche Gastgeber. Der Ort ist halt wirklich recht klein, hatte dafür aber erstaunlich viel zu bieten. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und die Anlage der Familie ist wirklich wunderschön. Nicht weit entfernt liegt Leonidi, wo man ebenfalls einen Strandtag verbringen kann und auch ein ganz kleines bißchen shoppen :)

Logement très agréable , échanges facile avec les hôtes qui ont été très arrangeants avec nous ( nous arrivions tard de Athènes et ils ont tout mis en place pour nous accueillir) merci pour ce séjour . Je recommande

Η διαμονη μας ηταν τελεια! Πολυ αμεση επικονωνια και εξαιρετική εξυπηρέτηση. Πολυ καθαρο δωματιο και επισης ο ιδιοκτήτης ειναι πολυ φιλικος με τα ζωακια!

Super nette, hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir bekamen an einem Abend eine Portion selbst zubereitete Muscheln die lecker waren. Hydra ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise Wert und an die vielen Treppen gewöhnt man sich nach 2-3 Tagen.
