Monemvasia is a special and historical place. Having the opportunity to stay in the castle walls was an unforgettable experience. This home was spacious for two. The location in the Castle was very nice. In the pictures it looks like there is rooftop access in the home but there is not. Home is a bit musty but after running the AC seems ok (it is a very old building after all). Host checked us in and made us feel right at home. Overall great experience and highly recommend. Be prepared for lots steps. If you want to see all the sites of the castle there is a great deal of walking to get up the hills but worth it. Some of the sites are only open Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon so if you want to get the full experience those days are best. Snorkeling is a must. I had a great experience of snorkeling with a massive sea turtle among many other small fish.

The room was amazing, more beautiful than shown in photos. It was very clean and quite, with all amenities. Sofia and her mother are very kind and helpful. The best hospitality. The facilities are very nice too. More than recommended.

Super nice, helpful hosts. We got a portion of homemade mussels one night that were delicious. Hydra is definitely worth a trip and you get used to the many stairs after 2-3 days.
