Monthly Rentals in Lagoa do Fogo

I stayed at this apartment for about two months. Susana was very helpful! The place is a perfect size, very clean, and as a solo female I felt very safe in the small town. Lagoa is centrally located to be able to access Ponta Delgada, Villa Franca and Ribiera Grande with about a 20 minute drive. I rented a scooter for my two month stay and had no problem getting to the main parts of the island that I needed to. However Lagoa itself is pretty small and doesn’t have any significant night life (which is honestly nice for a long term stay). Most nights were spent watching the sunset and having a glass of wine from the apartment windows. Some dogs barking and motorcycle riding sounds at night which are easily blocked out if you close the windows and turn the fan on. Susana helped with anything that I needed: provided extra bed linens, extra kitchen supplies and fixed the sink promptly when there was a leak. Would certainly stay again :)

I’ve had an incredible time solo traveling to Sao Miguel. Traveling in February, you should be prepared for a fair share of rain, but in between the downpours it happened to be surprisingly pleasant. The island is absolutely stunning and if you like to spend most of your time wandering around splendid nature, this is the right spot. The house: it’s a hidden gem on top of a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Pico Barossa on the other side. The views from the glass-360 degree windows are impaccable. In the house I had everything I needed, although the authentic kitchen is simple it suits most needs if you’d like to cook for yourself. There are plenty of options to buy groceries close by as well. The privacy, space (you could easily fit a family of 6 comfortably) and the location right at nature’s doorstep makes this a truly unique accommodation. I hope to return back, thank you so much!

Really cosy, modern and beautiful apartment, perfect if you’re planning on visiting different locations of the island, as is very well located. Hélio was very attentive, polite and responsive at all times, making me feel like home. Highly recommended!

First of, I just want to say that the place is super gorgeous, right next to a river, and is totally quiet. Located in a hide away part of town, it's only a few minutes away to the closest supermarket in the Ribeira Grande city. It is perfectly located in tbe middle of the island so whenever the weather is not ideal it's possible to quickly change plans for a day to adjust to the changing weather conditions, in our case we have been very lucky in February visiting the island for one week we haven't encountered too much rain and were able to easily adapt. The house in itself is totally quiet and well kept with a cozy feel and it was very kind of Felicia to allow us to see the horses and explore a bit of the surroundings of the house. They were also very responsive with any issues we had at home of which there only was a minor leak in the sink but apart from that there were no problems.
