My place has fantastic views of the Golfo Dulce where you can find dolphins, humpback whales and sea turtles. You’ll love this simple open structure because of the feeling of being alone in nature with many fruits to pick at from the surrounding forest while watching wildlife pass by like monkeys, parrots and toucans. My place is great for couples and solo travelers with a good level of fitness.
“To sum it up: we had a perfect time and agreed on the fact that this place was the most wonderful we have ever stayed at! Waking up to the sound of the birds, monkeys and bears next to the cabin and watching dolphins jumping out of the water while sitting at the breakfast table...what else is there to wish for? And the fruits that grow in the garden are delicious. We also enjoyed the private beach, which is admittedly very hard to reach but definitely worth the hike. In addition the care taker Roberto is lovely and we spent some wonderful time fishing with him and chatting with him and his friends. He knows everything about the rain forest and was always more than helpful with whatever we needed. The cabin is kept simple but still has everything one might need including a gas stove, a wonderful outdoor shower, a toilet, a nice living room and mosquito nets to keep the beds, at least to some extent, free from this brutal little insects. Consindering that the cabin is situated in the middle of the jungle and subjected to wind and weather, it was of course not a very clean place to live in but this did definitely not take the fun out of it. They are currently doing renovations and are building new cabins up there, so we believe the place will be even more beautiful in the future. If you want to experience the best parts of what Costa Rica’s nature has to offer - this is most certainly what you are looking for!”
Perfect location, from our home: 100 kms northwest is Quepos, 100 kms to the south Paso Canoas and to the north Pérez Zeledón. Perfect location to shop in the Golfito free duty zone and beautiful Pto Jiménez. And many more beaches like Uvita and Dominical within a 40 minute drive. Catch a boat ride to Drake Bay vía the Sierpe river in less that an hour.
“Our stay at Nolan & Eli's place was very nice! Nolan weren't home, but we said hi to him on phone and he helped us with a few things regarding information about local attractions and a translation to Spanish. Eli was the host during our stay. She didn't speak English but through the use of Google translate, our very little knowledge of Spanish and gestures we had some nice chats! She made some very delicious breakfast, helped us communicating with the airport and taught us some Spanish! Their dog Pepe was a bit guarding at first, but after a few hours he softened up and got more friendly. All in all a good stay!”

“If you’re questioning whether to book a stay at Barbara’s place - I highly encourage you to stop thinking and hit the request booking button now! Our Stay with Barbara and her daughter Jade was by far our favorite AirBnB experience throughout our entire two weeks in Costa Rica. Barbara is very kind and hospitable and makes every effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She maintains a very clean house (as described with hot water and everything) and offered us a number of wonderful amenities - fresh coffee in the morning, delicious home-baked confections and more. Not to mention that her homemade ice cream is out of this world! Don’t miss out on trying it - we loved both the Honey Ginger Lime and Oreo Cookie flavors. We loved our mornings and evenings here, filled with many great conversations, great company, and the cutest dogs ever :)”
