Smoking-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Atitlán

It‘s a rare thing to find a place that looks better in real life than in the pictures of the ad. This one is one of these. Very close to the town centre, situated in a beautiful garden. A real treat.

We loved our stay here! The location is great very close to the ferry. Loved the open air area! It’s close to bars/restaurants but we didn’t find it too loud. Would recommend staying here.

we loved our stay at the apartment! very spacious, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and free drinking water. good location (great breakfast on the other side of the alley!), quiet nights and the garden is stunning. definitely recommend!

It is a beautiful place, very close to the pier, excellent view of the lake and the mountains, spotless, it is just as described. The host is very respectful and friendly.

I stayed here on glorious week and could have stayed another. The place was exactly as described and the rooftop deck/kitchen was an amazing place to work and chill. It was a 50 yard walk to the lake and only a 5-10 walk to the main tourist area. It’s also about as peaceful as San Pedro gets. Town has a party vibe so you will still hear music at night and the occasional dog barking but nothing that even cheap earplugs can’t handle.

A very peaceful place with a good view

Beautiful views! You will have one of the best sunrise spots around town! You can have a quick swim just couple of meters! beautiful natural surrounding! Be aware of insects it can be scary to find scorpions, but you are in the wild and it’s just difficult to keep them away, we had some scorpions situation but everything was sorted out. They are trying their best to help. David was super attentive and Andres help us! We had great time there!

A spectacular space, with my family we talk that it is even nicer than the photos. Nice details, Fabi made the stay easier. We're definitely going back. Cute finish to disconnect in this wonderful place.

We really liked Mary's place! the accommodation and the price are too good, and Mary was always very friendly, she showed up to welcome us and explain important things (house things, recommendations). Personally I thought that contact was nice. Cleaning 10/10, amenities 10/10, space 10/10. Everything was excellent. A place that is sure worth it and we look forward to returning soon.

It was a pleasure to stay in Nathalie’s place during the days we spent on Atitlán lake. We had a lovely time there and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the calm and the beautiful view of the lake.

I stayed in the guacamole cabin for 2 weeks it was very private and quiet back yard with a nice sitting area surrounded by greenery. next door is the training area for yoga ,martial arts and many other activities I took part in the hatha yoga classes which were awesome way to start the day the lake is a 4 minute walk ,spent most of my time on the water kayaking and swimming. it's just a paradise. Johnathan has created a community of teachers and students to enrich your soul .we had 2 potluck dinners wich was a good way to meet the other guests. yea I love that place and it's people. thanks Johnathan, I'll be back next year .

Ciirilo and his family are the most friendly people. He offered pick up from the ferry and took us to where we needed to catch our shuttle the next day. His accommodation was clean and perfect for what we needed as a transition base to our next destination. It is a bit far from the main area, but realistically only a 20 minute walk, if you don’t mind walking. However, the lake was an easy 5-7 minute walk. The neighborhood was a typical Guatemalan neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We felt very safe. Thank you Cirilo for hosting my wife and I.

The place is very cute, cozy, as it is in the photographs. What it honestly takes is time to enjoy so many beautiful areas that the building has to rest. The penthouse has a beautiful view and a super spacious area where I could spend a lot of time relaxing. I honestly loved the place. I look forward to coming back soon.

This is a great studio with kitchen. Propane stove, mid-size fridge, microwave… well done quipped. Curio went out of his way to help us many times. There are other rentals and it was nice to meet guests from all over the world. We recommend this side of Panama: away from tourists, great beach, and walkable.
