My place is nestled on a private road on Lake Bomoseen in the the Lakes Region of beautiful Vermont. We are within 50 minutes from Killington, Pico, and Okemo mountains. Close to Castleton State University, you’ll love the cozy, private, one room guest cottage that awaits you with your very own lake front sitting area a short distance from the bungalow. Use my kayaks or bring your own; dock space available for small boats. Boat rental is an option at a local marina.

Enjoy easy year round living within a 5 minute walk of Lake Bomoseen, the largest natural lake in Vermont. Although not directly on the lake, you will have access to our personal dock space, the private homeowners boat ramp, grassy park area, and small private beach. Bring your boat, or rent one from the local marina. Bomoseen is known for its fishing. The Lakes Region of the Green Mountains is known for its beauty and history. The biking, skiing and hiking are excellent. Come and enjoy!
What guests are saying:“David and Heather were great hosts - very friendly and responsive. They brought in a brand new barbecue while we were there, and were quick to respond to any questions we had. The house was very clean, spacious (2 levels can house 2 families), a large fully equipped kitchen, and the deck and backyard are great for sunset dinners and making an evening fire in the firepit. Lake Bomoseen is gorgeous. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away, and kayaking there was a great experience. Bomoseen State Park is a 15-20 minute drive away, has a beach for swimming, a picnic area, fishing, a picnic pavilion (reservations required for the season, which officially starts June 26), and several hiking trails. Instacart was very good in this area as well, offering two major supermarkets for easy no-hassle delivery. If you need transportation, I highly recommend reserving with Catamount Taxi. We used this company to get from Enterprise in Rutland (where we dropped off a rental twice during our stay) to David and Heather's place, and out of the three major companies they were the most professional.”

This apartment provides you with a cozy stay - a bedroom with a queen size bed, sofa bed, and air mattress. Well stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, dishes, pots and pans, etc. Very comfortable bed and extra blankets, if you need them. Nice neighborhood, near the lake, near several sites. Close to many activities. Nice deck with table and chairs to enjoy your morning beverage, a meal or just to sit and visit. There are several pamphlets to peruse and find things to do if you are just in the area to site see.”
