Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Lake Te Anau

We have in general been very happy with AirBnb's throughout the country but this listing really takes the cake. I could not picture a more perfect rental and would 1,000% recommend it to anyone.

We stayed here prior to a cruise on Doubtful Sound. Very comfortable rural setting on a farm for two couples. A dozen farm eggs for us in the fridge, making for a nice meal of omelets, combined with some extras purchased at nearby Four Square. Plenty of cereals and yogurt. Highly recommended.

This was charming on an Alpaca farm - the most unique part was being introduced to all the alpacas and with a great explanation of how they are cared for The air bnb was clean , warm and had all we needed which was very welcome We didn’t have time to use the hot tub , but it looked great 😀

We had a fantastic stay at Ellen's place in Te Anau! The house was in a great location and very easy to find. The check-in instructions were super clear, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The house itself is big, spacious, and cozy — our group felt very comfortable throughout the stay. The WiFi was impressively strong, and we really appreciated the large washing machine and the excellent dryer — they worked perfectly. A lovely surprise awaited us as Ellen warmly welcomed us with small gifts like snack packs and delicious cookies — such a thoughtful and wonderful gesture. Thank you so much, Ellen! Unfortunately, we arrived quite late and didn’t have time to try the hot tub, but hopefully next time we will! Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, private and tranquil setting minutes from Te Anau. A soak in the hot tub (that Pete and Bee had pre-heated) was the highlight, especially under the stars! Pete and Bee are very friendly and approachable. We had a great stay.

One of the most spectacular Airbnb's we have ever stayed at. The view is sensational and it is a lovely, peaceful setting. The Airbnb itself was modern, comfy and clean. It was well appointed with a full kitchen and well stocked supplies. Bedrooms were comfy and there were modern, clean bathrooms. Te Anau is a great place to stay as a base for trips to Milford or Doubtful Sound. Black's Hut is around a 30 minute walk to the town centre, slightly longer if you take the very scenic route along the lake edge. There are no busses or taxis. All and all it was a fantastic stay and comes highly recommended.

If you like quiet peaceful place with great views this is the place. A short easy drive to town for groceries or dinner. Great hikes nearby come home have beverage on the porch and watch the sun set with the sheep and horses (Mickey and Ringo)
