Vacation rentals with a patio in Lamego

We had an excellent accommodation in Ana's property. Extremely clean house with everything you need. The garden of the house is magnificent, very well cared for and reserved. Perfect for breakfast. We will definitely go back again and again.

Paulo's place is extremely modern, clean, spacious with a great bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. Just a pity it was too cold to make use of the pool. It was an added bonus being able to eat in their restaurant downstairs.

Nice space, with a beautiful view, and with everything you need! I just wasn't expecting the narrow streets and lack of parking. (It's not the owner's fault, it's the area itself)

We really had a very nice time in Paul's apartment! We recommend 💯 %! Our stay was actually too short & we definitely want to come back sometime. For those looking for a unique experience outside of the mass tourism, you've come to the right place! In Paul's house you will be warmly welcomed and for a while it is also "your home" A unique experience of Portuguese life in the Douro valley. The area is also beautiful, the people are nice and everything is very affordable. We hope to return one day to this beautiful Portuguese paradise. 🫶

I'll write the review in English so it can reach everyone, as well as some tips for your stay. The apartment was in excellent condition, very well decorated and clean. The TV supports Youtube and Netflix. The hosts are super nice, the area is calm, perfect for night walks. As for my tips: Restaurants in the area are cheap and serve good food. If you plan on going to Stop, a medium dose of beef does feed 2 people for only 10€. Do note that the nearest supermarket is a 30min walk from the apartment, so if you're not bringing a car make sure to stock up on your first day!

This place is beautiful, very clean, the location is great. The building is stone and very old and sturdy. You can walk to a few good restaurants in the neighborhood or walk to the mall and historic downtown. It’s right next to a hospital and is in a high traffic area but the sounds were almost comforting to me. Like white noise. Staying alone, I preferred that to the quote of the countryside. The design of the loft is a thing of beauty, but the stairs would be hard to navigate for the elderly. The only issue I had was during my arrival at night the first day I was there. They provide great visual instructions but the driveway is right after a curve and it’s up a curb. Not like a driveway in the USA. It’s dark and you would not expect to go up a sidewalk curb to enter the driveway. It was not problem once I figured it out but again, at night it was hard to fine.

Villa Seara, a hamlet of peace and beauty, nestled at the bottom of a valley, its centuries-old church that gently marks time. Sofia and Martin are not ordinary hosts, they share their passions for their vineyard and the fabulous wine they get from it. We left a little sad, but with new friends, and the desire to return to this unparalleled pastoral comfort! Thanks Sofia and Martin!

Carla and António were the best hosts we could have wished for. Friendly, helpful, making us immediately feel at home. The house is beautiful and the wonderful farm, far from everything, which makes it the ideal space to rest and spend some beautiful days. The friendly animals were cherry on cake, our baby loved it!

Marisa was incredibly kind, responsive, and made sure we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Accommodation exactly as in the photos, quiet location, practical for being a few meters from a market and other points of interest. About 10 minutes by car to the center of Guimarães. Self check-in was super practical and with the password we had access to the safe with the keys. The house was extremely clean and the central heating was certainly a differential, providing the necessary thermal comfort on the coldest days we were there. When we arrived at the site, the house was already heated! The kitchen is well equipped and served us beyond our expectations. The garage accommodates a large car well, as it has a table for socializing. It's a great family accommodation. If you are looking for tranquility with comfort, this is the ideal space.

The house is quite comfortable and very quiet. Ideal for which you are looking for days of peace and wants to escape the rush of the big cities. The pool area is spectacular, with very careful equipment and a genius hot tub! Jennifer and Sebastian are perfect hosts. Very friendly and polite, they were always very attentive and immediately responded to all the messages we sent. We love our stay. We will certainly repeat the experience.

Though remote, the instructions José provided made the place very easy to find. There are ample outside areas for dining and relaxing (although we were there at a time of year too chilly to take advantage of this). The view in the morning is great, as you can drink a coffee and look down on clouds rolling down the river valley below you. The House is quite small, but accommodated us and our two children easily. 4 adults might find it a tight fit. There are neighbors, but they are quite friendly (one lady, it being Easter, gave my children a bag of Easter almonds). The quality of renovation work on the house is superb, and preserves the old "stone house" character typical in this region, while maximizing comfort within. The AC heats up the place quickly and thoroughly. Parking is no problem at all, with plenty of space to turn the car around once you have pulled in. Restaurants, Supermarkets, and all the amenities are located about 15 minutes away in Cinfães.

We had the most amazing time at Hugo and Jennys. The whole place is just beautiful. Theres a great view of the river from the terasse and the pool is so nice. The kitchen is well equipped, we found everything we needed to cook and there was plenty of fresh vegetables in the garden that we were welcome to eat. We also highly recommend trying Jennys homecooked meals- it was great being able to eat on site without having to cook ourselves, specially when travelling with young kids. The food also tasted amazing. Our kids absolutely loved the place, pool and garden. Overall we highly recommend staying at Jenny and Hugos, the surrounding langscape is beautiful, the house is incredible and Hugo and Jenny are fantastic hosts. We are definately coming back ❤️

Excellent, clean, and modern apartment! It had everything one could need, including a stocked kitchen with great coffee, a nice shower, and air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and the place overall was peaceful, which made it easy to rest. Parking was easily accessible at a nearby garage. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had this desire, Fatima and Abel, and their family helped to make it happen by offering us their accommodation of very beautiful quality, typical, clean, with a beautiful view. The central proximity of the main places of this region of northern and central Portugal, not to mention the beautiful and very refreshing beaches, is an undeniable asset. Fatima and Abel's openness and communication allowed us to get away from the tourist spots and experience Portuguese life, its gastronomy from the inside. A real treat for our daughter and us! A great invitation to come back and discover other places in Portugal!

Elisabete was really kind, the place is very nice, on the top floor with a large terrace from which to enjoy sunny days. Highly recommended for those passing through Amarante!
