Behind the house you have a wonderful view over meadows and pastures. Especially in the morning when the sun rises over the meadow and you sit in the conservatory with a coffee – an unforgettable moment! The rural area around, adjoining the beautiful spa town (Kurstadt) Bad Bentheim with its wonderful castle, invites you discover its many treasures on bike and hiking tours on many different routes. Still, it is easy to reach many nice destinations in the neighbouring country of Holland as well as in the Westfalian area around Münster with its countless castles and its beautiful landscape.

Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Het Goede Gemoed; "Afterwards and yet close". Good cozy restaurants are plentiful and also grabbing a movie is done in no time.

In the beautiful Twentse landscape in the middle of nature reserve the Springendal a stone's throw away from the German border and near the picturesque town of Ootmarsum lies the estate Hoeve Springendal. You have one of the ten apartments that is fully, attractively and comfortably furnished. One of the apartments is furnished for four people. In our old grain barn, you can have breakfast or lunch, we also have delicious freshly baked apple pie or a local special beer.

The house is next door to our own house, and an ultimate place for lovers of peace and nature. Our house is located on a sandy road near the edge of the nature reserve "Cirkels van Jannink”. The cozy and cozily furnished holiday home was completely renovated in 2023.

In our lovingly furnished guesthouse, we warmly welcome our guests. The guesthouse has 2 single beds, which are located on a gallery. (The beds can also be pushed together). A sofa bed can accommodate additional guests. Located directly on the Vechte, in a quiet location with many hiking and cycling trails, you will find our nice guest house.
